Politics Trump Calls Off Trip To US Military Cemetery Due To Bad Weather

Most in the military are, and always have been, Republican. We just didn't talk politics because we wanted to remain friends. We could talk about women or that asshole sergeant that was giving us grief.

 

Hallelujah, the saints be praised, there is some good news in this world.

It's a great excuse to skip that boring trip to celebrate those Veterans who gave their lives in defense of this country and replace it with a trip to one of his golf courses where he can make the Secret Service pay for the entire day with public money so they can protect his fat ass while he golfs. A side benefit is that all that money his course is charging the Secret Service, an amount equal to a full up course with private members, which never ever happens at one of his courses, goes into his pocket. It's a lose/win deal, the government loses and he gains.

But Sly's remark about how he hates the rain means he's gonna stay away from Oregon, warms my heart.

 

I'm surprised Trump didn't use the bone spur excuse to blow off the veterans day memorials

 

It's possible that because of his stupid bone spur excuse, I had to go to Vietnam and get permanently disabled as a result. He makes me want to puke.

Lanny, I protested the Vietnam war. I knew people who opposed the war and did not served. There were people who supported the war and served. And a lot of people who had no particular view but were drafted and served. I rezresp all of to .But I have no respect for those like Trump and Cheney who cheered the war but refused to serve. Yeah, the war was fabulous as long as other people bled

 

I also was against the war. I could see that we failed to include the Vietnamese in our fighting. Every woman there that was half way decent looking got treated like a hooker. It's no wonder they got pissed at us.
For a while, I rode shotgun for the mail truck driver. He would try and hit these small motor bikes and knock them into the ditch alongside the road. He also shacked up with a Vietnamese woman, got her pregnant and took off without her, happily, I might add, as soon as his tour was up and he returned to the States.

 

I'm sure you and your son are great Americans and honor our country and the military as are many other republicans. The republicans running our country however are not, they faux outrage when a black man kneels for the anthem, or when Obama latte saluted, but don't bother showing up when it counts. Many others follow thier lead also and make excuses for them.
