Headline is FAKE NEWS, it's just a meritless motion to SCOTUS which will be dismissed as such.

SCOTUS is not "challenging" Whitaker or anyone else.

Tsk tsk. Don't people understand that the whims of the god-emperor are more important than merit, justice, fairness, or the law?

Although I believe the eventual outcome would more likely be a SC victory for Whitaker, especially with this now right-leaning court, there is a good chance the SC will end up reviewing a case like this one.

There are several thousand cases that specifically name Sessions in the court filings as the AG along with other agencies and people. A good lawyer would recommend to any client in this situation to file a similar motion as a chance to get the case kicked.

All it would take is one judge in one of those several thousand cases being filed in state SC’s to say that Whitaker is not constutuonslly the AG for the case to be fast tracked directly to the highest court in the land.

It might not be this case, or the next one, but one judge will overturn the AG’s authority.

The Executive authority in the Government is completely invested in the President. Any Authority the AG has stems completely from the President whether he is confirmed by the Senate or not. I would assume any action taken before a Senate Confirmed Ag were in place, would come from the President even though a person maybe assisting him. The SC is not going to overturn anything the Chief executive is empowered to do.

Regardless of if you are correct or not, do you think one judge out of hundreds or even thousands of these cases will say that Trump did not have the right to appoint a non-senate confirmed Whitaker? If so, the question will get shot directly to SCOTUS to decide. I believe as of now there are 7 claims like the one in the OP.

Does that mean SCOTUS will say Whitaker is an unlawful appointment? No. But considering there are many constitutional scholars including many conservative ones who say they believe the appointment unlawful, there is certainly a chance the appointment is overturned.

However, Trump could appoint a permanent AG anytime to get senate confirmed which I bet happens very quickly.

    Trump only hires the best...........

The “crackpot” bit is not in dispute. In addition to his exotic legal views and his lack of relevant experience, Matthew G. Whitaker was already known to have hawked hot-tub seats for a business that shut down this year after reaching a $26 million settlement with the Federal Trade Commission for defrauding customers. But that’s just the beginning of the crackpottery.

During the current U.S. attorney general’s time on the company’s advisory board, from 2014 onward, World Patent Marketing:

    ● Claimed that “DNA evidence collected in 2013 proves that Bigfoot does exist,” had a website selling Bigfoot paraphernalia and planned a celebrity event called “You Have Been Squatched!”
    ● Asserted that “time travel” could be “possible, perhaps within the next decade” and tried to raise money using bitcoin for time-travel research by one of Whitaker’s fellow board members. The company suggested users might “relive moments from your past” or “visit your future.”
    ● Announced, in the same media release heralding Whitaker’s appointment to the board, a patent application for an extra-deep “masculine toilet” for the well-endowed. Specifying the size of “average male genitalia,” the release said “this invention is designed for those of us who measure longer than that.”

Not sure which of these you're trying to cast doubt on but the 3rd one is something I would not only buy but have actually wondered why they weren't available.

Marketing to vets and then ripping them off? Not much vision required for that, or ethics.

One more reason Vegas is awesome. The cold water from our pipes isn't very cold at all. Especially in the summer.

I have no qualms about the LDT (Long Dick Toilet), I just want to know if Bigfoot can Time Travel while using it. These are the important questions an AG should be asking.

Time travel is only possible for moving into the future. There is no going back.

If he's going to be working for Trump, shouldn't he also file a patent for an SDT? Something with a higher waterline so the less well endowed can experience at least one aspect of what it's like to be longer than average.

All these old cats acting like they got heavy dicks. If your saggy balls are wet from hanging in poop water, just admit it.

I think it's obvious Bigfoot would use it.

As for time travel, I've been traveling through time for over 64 years now, counting my time traveled in utero.
