Nice to know the Ducks' bucketball team sucks as bad as the football team.

    That is all.

I thought they were ranked in the top 20.

They looked abysmal last night. Extremely boring. The seemed clueless and uninspired on both ends.

i have to agree. Besides bol’s energy in the beginning of the first half, it was a bad performance

    Iowa is pretty good tho

They lost to Iowa last night (I live in Hawkeye territory). Iowa should not be good at bball this year. I was really surprised to see the final score.

They were ranked in the top 20, they wildly boasted about their great recruiting class, and then they promptly lost to an unranked team.

There's something about their coach that's always grated me.

I guess I missed the memo where it says that one bad game makes the entire season.

    Now you know.
Anyhow, on a more serious note, it's not a good start.

Honestly, I would have reacted differently if not for all the boasting about their great recruiting.

Yesterday they rebounded and beat Syracuse on their home court.
Ducks Roundball have a history of starting slow.
Im still betting they win the Pac 12...

Yeah, I saw that. However, coupled with the poor start, I'm just not sure.

Bol Bol is special. I don' think he'll a star at the NBA level but his game works wonders in the NCAA. They were able to make him the focal point of the offense against Syracuse and with Wooten and Okoro, they will be able to shut teams down on defense. The only thing they are missing now is a shooting threat and they will have that once Louis King is healthy next month. I just wish they had picked up an athleric guard like Jonathan Lloyd who mainly dishes and slashes. Payton Pritchard has a lot of skill and ability, but then he'll have games where he seems to doubt his ability. Will Richardson may end up being that guard who pushes him. But he's more a combo guard.
