Who is the best player on the current Bulls roster? And IMO there is no way you can put " its _________-, obviously" Ben Gordon, Kirk Hinrich, Big Ben, Loul Deng it can be any but choice isnt 200%. IMO it is Gordon he carries this team but isnt consistent like Deng is.

I think it's Luol Deng. From reading posts, a lot of Bulls fans seem to think Gordon is their best player, but I disagree. He's their best scorer, without question, but I think Deng is their best all-around player right now. He can't score like Gordon, but he has an impeccable mid-range game that few have and he's an outstanding/underrated defender (especially for his age). His size, length, athleticism, intangibles, and defensive abilities put him over the hump, IMO.

Luol Deng. He really stepped it up this post-season and his potential is sky high given his age (22, 23?) He really does well with his jumper right inside the 3-point line and he seems to be pretty good when he drives to the basket. He isn't bad at defense, and being on Chicago defintely helps him because hes surrounded by other pretty good defensive players (tyrus, big ben, nocioni, etc...) He keeps improving his game so much. How much? Just a year ago Andres Nocioni outplayed him and won the starting spot. This year, Nocioni was injured, so obviously Deng is going to start but when it comes to next year, and you ask the question of would you start Nocioni or Deng, who would you take? Yup.

Loul Deng has the most upside to be a superstar than anyone on the roster and has shown flashes of greatness, and that is obvious. But... the player who has the biggest impact on a game right now when he plays well is Kirk Hinrich. The calibur of Ben Wallace as a player is very arguable depending on your personal views of the game of basketball. Ben Gordon is far too one-dimensional for me to entertain him in this conversation.

While Luol Deng is emerging and id consider him our playoff mvp, I think as far as valuability to our team id have to say Gordon. When Gordon goes on fire, our whole team goes on fire and he carries our offense as you saw in game 4 and 5.

Deng is probably the best player on their team, but night-to-night Ben Gordon is their most valuable guy. He kept the Bulls in the game last night when the Pistons were beginning to pull away, whether it was hitting a three or getting a steal defensively.

Ben Wallace. He holds the fort down low. He's the most valuable on a relatively weak interior team. But the best player is Luol Deng

Luol Deng. I think Hinrich is the leader, and Gordon is the best scorer...but best all around player? Luol Deng. He is a force on the offensive end, and he shoots a tremendous 50% for a SF. He is so aggressive, and he can score inside easily. He also has the midrange going for him, and he doesn't take any bad shots. It's not just that though. He is a standout player on defense, and also a tremendous rebounder for a wing player (I think he gets like 8 a game..)

I would like to say Ben Gordon, but Deng has shown me that he can really led this offense and he has shown that he is a really good player and has grown in this league. I learned to respect the guy for being such a great player. So I'll go with Deng in this one, but as I said, I would've liked to say Ben Gordon.

Im gonna go out on a limb and say Kirk Hinrich. He is a huge reason why Chicago even gave Detroit a contest in this series. He played bad in Game 6 but in 4 and 5, he played terrific. He is still young and he should only keep progressing as a leader. Guys like Gordon and Deng are great all-around players, but there not leaders like Hinrich is.

I say Deng because he is a team player. He is an amazing all around player. Chicago would be nowhere without his help. He is also still young and has great potential to be an all star in this league. Don't be surprised if in a few years he is an MVP contender. Also Ben Gordon is very close but I think Deng is a little better because of the all around play of Luol Deng.

It's hard Gordan then Hinrich, and then Deng. But Deng got good #'s I don't know it's hard with those 3.
