Cup and OB where arguing about homeless people. Nothing to big, mostly just picking at what each other were posting. You decided that looked like fun so you jumped in and said something about how amazed you were that Cup could post with his head up his ass. This was after you threw some personal insults out in 2 other threads so I removed you from all 3 threads.
The discussion/debate/argument that Cup and OB were having was attacking the post. What Marazul posted was a personal insult.
Ah! Could be, could be, I do not remember. Sort of odd though, I rarely see Cup's posts, I doubt I responded to him. I have had him on ignore for perhaps most of the year. Shield my volatile temperament from useless triggers you know. I do remember something about trying to be of some moral support to OB. There are few conservatives in here. But damn! This was long ago now!
Whoa dog! It is a personal insult to give another man, a truthful opinion of some other person? When you are in moral support of the person you are communicating with? No wonder I got confused.
If you didn't have your ridiculously stupid "gray area" we'd know. MarAzul isn't as good at phrasing things just right but that was in the spirit of attacking the post.
What gray area? Sounds like you and @Cippy91 want a much stricter interpretation of the personal insult rule. Using the post by Dviss that first raised the ire of Cippy please give me some suggestions on how we can expand the personal insult rule so it covers not only that post but can be applied fairly to other posts.

I've explained it numerous times...Jesus Christ. Saying "your post is a piece of shit" or "I wanna beat your post's ass" or something to that effect being allowed when EVERYONE on Earth knows it is a direct personal insult hidden behind a loophole is idiotic.
Sly, I have no need to insult someone on ignore. You must know you can not judge on what you infer. Even if you perceive an insult to a third party in a two way communication, it has to be a stretch to infer it is a personal insult! Especially when it is a truth that the other party of the communication needs to know.
Not the point. The point is the bias. Within hours.... I don't care about the ignore taunts although it is a really petty form of passive aggression.
