I dont think I like this... If you guys had a problem with the whole Friday deadline rule, did you bring it up before Friday?
I was working under that being the rule that bones announced in here, I think most people were. I get that the Site/App had the rule as a different time but it was announced a while ago.

 

I didn't see the post about his own rule/deadline until Monday. You cant possibly expect us to keep up with all the posts in this thread and get the rules that way. The rules should be on the ESPN league page, and it was, deadline is posted as today!
If Bones wanted the deadline on Friday, why didnt he change it to then on ESPN?

 

I understand. I just dont like that different groups were working under different rules. Im not trying to say you guys did something ‘wrong’ but those who do follow this thread I bet most of us were under the impression that we couldnt trade any more after Friday. Do you understand where Im coming from?

 

Because you can't set it to a day other than Wednesday.

 

This thread also doesn't progress fast. I posted it in the middle of the week during a very slow period. It's not my fault if you didn't see the posts.

 

There are 113 pages! Most is a bunch of chatter that doesn't concern the entire league. The league home page is where rules etc should be clearly stated.
ESPN has the trade deadline set for Wednesdays for a reason, your obviously in the vast minority of wanting it on your own special day that you feel is best.

 

113 pages spanning three months. It's really not hard to keep up with this thread during the week. If you checked INCE during that week, you should've seen it. Everyone else did. If you don't check the thread, how am I supposed to know that you'll check the LM Note?

My own special day? Seriously? We did this last year and no one (Not even you) whined about it. Friday makes more sense as it gives a few days with players being moveable instead of one and a half.

If you needed to make a move, you shouldn't have waited before the second to last week of the season to do it. That's ridiculous, and not my fault.

 

I 100% agree with this. If it is a special rule it should be clearly communicated through the league's home page not the forum. There are people in the league that don't even read this thread.

This has been my point throughout every argument that we need the rules in writing. Any rules that are different than what the league settings page on ESPN say should be clearly explained in the league notes.

There shouldn't be any of this confusion or arguing about rules. However Tortured is right, some of us have been operating under what Bones posted and therefore haven't been pursuing last minute trades.

To be honest, I didn't get much support for wanting clear rules so I dropped it. Maybe you didn't care until a rule change affected you?

 

I apologize for having a life and a job and not having time to read 113 pages, most of which is nonsense.
We all see the LM notes! It gets sent to your email and we all see the homepage when we check our rosters etc. etc.
I've been sending trade offers like crazy for the past several weeks. I didnt wait. I followed ESPN's rules and the rules in our league settings. Very simple. Same as 99% of all other fantasy football leagues.

 

So you don't have enough time to check this thread once a week? Or is it that you have to read the thread from the beginning in order to stay up to date?

 

You dont have anything to worry about... your trade offers are so bad that I don't think the deadline affected you.
