New Jersey was unbelievable in the 3rd quarter. At halftime, I posted "I hope Cleveland doesn't get too comfortable out there." That's exactly what happened, they are playing careless basketball and the energy level simply isn't there. That 3rd quarter was disgraceful for Cleveland. LeBron needs to take over in this 4th quarter.

I don't think we got careless, we just couldn't find a shot on offense and the main reason was because LeBron was out and he is our offense.

All I know is that Jason Kidd is a beast and I love that guy.</div>I didn't see LeBron get many calls in the 1st. If he did get much, it was because he was driving to the hoop and he was getting to the foul line like any player in the NBA would. He still got hit hard a lot on many plays and got no call.

Wow, they looked absolutely terrible out there without Lebron. I was totally wrong, it's anyone's game at this point. I took a shower, and when I turned the TV on to see the score, I almost fainted. WTF happened? I know Lebron got into foul trouble, but these are NBA players! They get paid to put the ball in the hole....and they cant get a single field goal in a span of 7 minutes of game time? wow.....

Well, what happens was this team has no one to go to down low. And we had Larry Hughes and Eric Snow out there to run the guard spot. Anytime you got those two out there together, it doesn't look good. Hughes missed every shot he took, he is scared to drive and I cannot believe I am seeing this from Hughes. This isn't the man we signed, this isn't the guy I saw every game in Washington. Why can't he just play his game? Who knows. As I type, thank you Gibson for a three!Anyway, we need to close this game out, defense wins this game right here.

Thank god for Donyell Marshall and Daniel Gibson. This is what we could do on almost every offensive play. Have LeBron James drive, kick it out to an open shooter for an open shot. To bad we got no shooters.

Can we trade Larry Hughes for something? Anything? Saer Sene? Martinis Andruiskevikus? I'll take anyone over him. Or we can just kill him and use his meat to feed the team. He is just terrible, absolutely terrible.

I'll admit, he had some horrible games the past 2 games against New Jersey. I honestly have never seen this Larry Hughes, I just wish he was the same guy he was in Washington. We are in the playoffs, and if he doesn't come up big against Detroit I don't know what to say. I know he is gonna get bashed non stop for a while, but I don't care. The Cavaliers are going to the ECF.

And I get offense may not be his strong point, but he played horribly on the defensive side of the ball as well. Kidd consistently got by him for easy layups...Besides playing passing lanes moderately well, I didn't see anything defensively from him.

Yeah. Jason Kidd isn't gonna drop many points on you, but he does however pick his game up a lot in the playoffs and he does do other things. Hughes isn't our best 1-1 defender, but he is a pretty good defender. I have nothing to back up Hughes with this, I'm just gonna forgot his play over the past few days and enjoy this win and the Tribe win.

Edit: I just put my post in the Nets section. No point in putting it twice.

Good tight game by both teams, the Nets gave it a heck of a run, but in the end the Cavs were too much, mostly because of Donyells threes. Where did he come from? Wow I knew he was good at threes a couple years back in these playoff series he has done nothing except warm the bench.Vince didnt show up this series. For someone who is averaging 26.9 points coming in, being in the top 10 all time playoff scorers, you gotta do better than 9 shot attempts. Your VC, not jefferson, or mikki moore. Kidd is amazing, and after this series, I believe he could very well be the best point guard in the league. Definatly the best overall one(pts, rebs, asts) but also best overall, his hustle, dedication, effort and intensity are the only reasons why Nets had even the slightest shot at this series. See you guys next year (for now) :dribble:

Lebron will give them a chance now even against DET.
