Can anybody here give me a good reason to believe Stotts hasn't lost the locker-room? To my poor old eyes they look like a team that, at best, doesn't care if they get their coach fired.

I don’t know if it’s Stott’s fault, or if this team is just coming back to earth. We just may not be very good.

At this point, however, I wouldn’t mind seeing Stotts go. We need a shakeup, I have no doubt about that.

He's a belly rubber. That's always been my problem with Stotts. The Blazers always love playing for Stotts. Why else? Does he EVER get mad at them?

I don’t think Stotts will lose the locker room. He’s a players coach. His problem is he doesn’t demand enough accountability so mistakes get shoved under the rug.

When Olshey signed Stotts, I looked up what Atlanta and Milwaukee fans thought of him, where he'd been Head Coach. They said he was good at offense, but bad at defense. Nothing I have seen has been any different. He's not going to change.

It has nothing to do with players not following his system. The problem is the system itself.

I don't think Stotts has lost the locker room anymore than I think Dame isn't leading!
Take a breath and look at the standings, outside of maybe Toronto&Milwaukee, everyone has struggled at some point. We are now.
The conference isn't going to settle 2-14 all year.
    51 Wins - 4th or 5the seed.

Take out his first year here with a crap team, and remove shit teams in ATL and MIL, and he is 251-179 as Blazers coach, .582% winning percentage.

Man, I have to be honest @Hoopguru, this type of mindset is really pissing me off. Dame's comments after the game were similar and exactly what I didn't want to hear. They should still be taking advantage of continuity and easily in 1st place right now but instead they have gotten super selfish on offense and lazy on defense. It's like they aren't even that upset when they lose as long as Houston (or whoever) lost too! Oh well, if the playoffs started today we'd still be in it! That shit is annoying.

    • The team isn't fighting with each other.
    • They publically support the coach.
    • A lost locker room is easy to spot
    • This is a slightly above .500 team in my eyes, so if anything they are performing better than I expected
    • The Milwaukee game is a throwaway game
    • The Warrior game was easy to predict - no way that team is going to lose 4 straight, and at home, and PDX on last game of a road trip
    • Last night sucked. Ugly.
    • The team appears to play hard. Might not do what we want them to do be doing, but they don't jog around

I for sure don't want to piss anyone off, its just this slump we are in now will help determine exactly what we are made of than thats the end of that? The teams mindset seems better to me than last year and Dames does too, but maybe they are distracted with life? Young people now a days seem to take things more in stride and maybe not have the grit needed to fight through stuff as much. Unless its political? Now Im going to really piss some people off, not meant that way though.
To me Dame needs to be the vocal leader and and rally the troops.
