Come on already. We were just talking about this in the NBA playoff thread that is made in the Playoff Forum. But whatever.Hughes hasn't played well in the last 2 playoff games. His shot has been gone, and he just hasn't been able to get things working for the Cavaliers. But correct me if I am wrong, did we not take a huge 20 point lead WHEN HE WAS IN? We blew it because of bad offense, bad offensive coaching. Don't blame Hughes for blowing the lead. Gibson has been doing AWESOME. He needs to keep this play up in the ECF, and Marshall. If they do, this team is gonna be hard to beat.

I guess he wants to bring it to BBW, because he knows thats where Larry Hughes' #1 fan kicks it. Its cool, bash him all you want. Because the guy had 2 bad games.. I didn't see you for a long time.. That Obviously means Hughes was doing a fine job. And matter fact, he was indeed playing good basketball, besides these past two games. But it's cool, if we lost I can see a point in this thread but I honestly don't care what anyone says right now. If he does horrible against Detroit, and we don't win that series then you can cry about it... Stand up straight up son, we are going to the ECF, be happy for crying out loud.... And didn't the Tribe just kick ass? I don't understand, what more does a Cleveland fan want??
Yeah I like LAy Hughes is a good player. I like that he stepped up and started at the point for a while. He did pretty good and it gave Pavlovic a chance to start. I think they did better as a team when Larr Hughes played at the point. I dont think that he can play good enough to beat the pistons though. They are going to be tough.
As a Pistons fan, Larry Hughes is the guy I'm scared of the most. Tayshaun Prince will give Lebron hell and a half and hold him at bay, like we do to tall star wingmen. The guys who always beat us though are the 2nd or 3rd best player on teams who go off for an unlikely 25. Drew Gooden has done it to us quite a few times. A guy like Hughes, Pavlovic, or even Gooden again, is what I'm worried about.
Detroit scared of Hughes? Oh my, this makes my day. All I can say is that everyone is lucky he isn't the same guy he was in Washington. His shot is just lost, and he can't seem to find it.
Larry Hughes doesn't suck, he just haven't played up to his potential ever since arriving to the Cleveland. Hughes is a really good but underrated defender and he will definitely give Chauncey Billups some trouble If Pavlovic can hold his ground guarding Rip Hamilton. Hughes just needs to get his shot along with his confidence back. Mike Brown is such a defensive minded coach to the extent that if Hughes misses his first couple of shots, you'll know that he will be ineffective on the offensive end for the rest of the game because Brown limits his players so much on offense.
I tell ya, coming on here and listening to good comments on Larry makes me feel better. You don't know how they get on this guy at Cavs.com message board. They should rename the board to "Hate Larry Hughes.com" or something like that. Even when the Cavaliers win, it's bashing Hughes if he shoots the ball bad.

Don't know what that means, but IMO Hughes has done a wonderful job on defense. Has Billups even scored more than 5 points in any of the two games? I know he had 7 turnovers in game 1, and around 5-6 in game 2. So, Hughes has to be doing something right. I wish this team had some offense though, if LeBron isn't driving we got nothing.
