the big back D. Henry imo, has been a flop of a failure in the NFL. Heisman trophy winner, steamroller and bulldoze at Alabama, hasn't found his footing in t/NFL, and more than likely never will, ala Trent Richardson, both busts.... Henry was made available at the Trade Deadline, and there were NO Takers, that says a lot, speaks volumes.... I disagree with this excerpt article below, Henry's not earned a frigging rost spot imo.... The Titans running back often voiced frustration in his own performance during the first half of the season, consistently ending an interview with a recurring thought: “I have to get better.” The slow start gradually meant a downtick in opportunities for Henry, only now he’s making the most of his opportunities. “You look at these couple of games, Derrick’s definitely earned more carries,” No he's not, this isn't the NCAA.... and were not in Tuscaloosa anymore- Dorothy....
hard to believe these pretenders beat Houston in Week, 2... whadda name "Titans".... sayyyy whatttt ??? Titans, more like Tits and Beer.
I still want to know how the giants beat these Texans in their home opener in Houston! In fact, the Texans, losers of their first 3 games on their schedule, made an about face and won seven in a row...........now midway thru the 2nd qtr they have taken a 14-10 lead over mediocre Tennessee.
....^^^^ An excellent point on the Texans, wonder what's in the Kool-Aid down there?? Titans head coach Mike Vrabel has a lot of balls but no brains. Did anyone even touch Marvin Miller in that 97 yard dash up the gut??
Rob, we may be the only ones who remember Marvin Miller, the crusty crafty player rep negotiator!!! LOL.
....^^^^ Marvin Miller, the Lord of Flatbush himself; is up for another HOF vote in 2019- Imho- His exclusion from the hallowed halls, is a slap in the face of all baseball fans, by baseball players and execs themselves... as Tom Terrific said, "Marvin Miller's exclusion from the Hall of Fame is a national disgrace." or Hammering Hank said, "Marvin Miller should be in the Hall of Fame if the players have to break down the doors to get him in." and Jim Bouton: the decision for putting a union leader in the Hall of Fame was handed over to a bunch of executives and former executives. Marvin Miller kicked their butts and took power away from the baseball establishment—do you really think those people are going to vote him in? It's a joke... I blame the players. It's their Hall of Fame; that's the least they owe Marvin Miller. Do they think they became millionaires because of the owners' generosity?"
^^^^^ He literally transformed the MLB players association into a bona fide labor union and then into one of the strongest collective bargaining units in the USA. Owners and baseball executives had a stronghold over players for over a century.......salaries and benefits were low and working conditions were unduly poor. Hard to believe this man in the mid ‘60s through 1983 made the MLB players association one of the most powerful unions in America......then on a par with the steelworkers of America. He changed the baseball landscape, and today greedy owners & players do not acknowledge his contributions. The truth being owners were taken to the shed and still demonstrate ‘sour grapes’despite making millions today & the players have become filthy rich yet demonstrate apathy in recommending the “Lord of Flatbush” to the Hall of Fame.
