I'm just going to tell you this now because you've said you haven't played much fantasy before.

THIS IS A HUGE NO-NO IN FANTASY.

I've seen people get kicked out of leagues for doing shit like this. Everyone should try to remain competitive until the end. It ruins the whole league when people do stuff like you're suggesting.

I would literally make all your players impossible to pickup somehow. I think I could stick them back on your team. Rosters have been crafted all year. Those who created them best should get rewarded.

Yet no one seems upset that someone started a qb who’s leg is in multiple pieces right now.

And a WR who hasnt played in a while.

That's a mistake that hampers his team only, not a deliberate action that disrupts the balance of the league.

I wonder if Amari Cooper had more points than McCaffrey? I'll have to check. I started McCaffrey and Cooper in my Yahoo league and Cooper outscored him. IMO, Mcaffrey *should* outscore Cooper if the league is set up right. Needless to say, my team blew the fuck up in Yahoo with those two, Chubb and Fournette despite him getting kicked out (after two TD's). All that with OBJ underperforming and Dalvin on the bench. Sick week.

Anyway. No "other league" talk. I know better.

Don't do that. I'm always a fan of the commish locking a team once they're eliminated from playoff contention.

Though, because we're doing weekly payouts, I don't think that's fair either.

Yep, McCaffrey outscored Cooper in this league. Rightfully so.

HailBlazer is awesome, so I don't want to throw him under the bus.
That type of stuff does change the balance of the league though. Say I decide to play my best roster vs team x and beat them. Then team y comes along but I don't play 3-4 players and lose. Both teams needed a win to make the playoffs. I have effectively decided who gets in, especially if had I played my same roster that beat team x against team y I would have beat them.

Just about everything anyone does has a trickle down effect to the balance of the league, the idea is what are the limits to that? Is it ok to get 5 weeks in decide my roster sucks and never log in. Is it ok at week 10? If I drop a guy in week 6 because he hasn't been performing for me and pick up some other player that's my choice. What week of the season does that become a problem, because he's actually a good player and dropping him "ruins" the league?

I think ultimately it's a low integrity move to just "quit" and throw my players to wolves so the highest guy on the waiver wire gets Aaron Rodgers (that's probably the only guy who would get picked up lol), and I'm not going to do that. I'll even have enough respect for you guys to at some point log on and change qb's since bortles is getting benched.

He didn't do it on purpose, and and hes fighting for playoffs so he didn't do it out of being done with the league because his team sucks.

You know the difference between dropping a player because he hasn't been performing for you when you're trying to win and giving up your entire team to the waiver wire because you're eliminated. I shouldn't have to explain that to you.

I need to win next week and I need Steelers to beat Robots (@HailBlazers). After starting 0-4, I have a chance.

I don't agree with @TorturedBlazerFan about him dropping all his players but I do agree that it's BS that @HailBlazers hasn't set his lineup which effects seeding and playoff spots.

See this is what I don't get about this comment. Hasn't set his lineups? Hes had injured players starting for ONE week. So I dont get the plurality you're using, it makes zero sense.

Last week he thought Alex Smith was dropped and he wasnt, so he accidentally started him. That led to him getting blown out on Thursday. I believe AJ Green was Questionable going into Sunday, but whether or not he replaced either of those guys didn't affect the outcome in that 51 point loss.

So no, he hasn't changed anything by forgetting to replace Alex Smith and AJ Green for one week.
