So I should be punished because all the other people are dumb and didn't bid on him? Why reward the rest of the league for making stupid decisions?

Keep it simple. 1 keeper per team. No other rules/restrictions.

Of course you'd view it like that.

Because I won more head to head. I BEAT Steelers. Why should I be punished?

For what it's worth I think total points should be more important than head to head. Head to head in this game can mean one team had a couple good players on bye, or injured a particular week. I'm not speaking about you and steelers, just in general there are so many things that could cause someone to have a really good week or really bad week, that I think consistently having a better score is more impressive than head to head.
    This was a general statement.

...none of this will matter when my team re-awakens to kick @BonesJones into the off-season! :devilwink:

They don't do that in real sports... it's the highest winning percentage among head-to-head games of the teams that are tied.

HUH? You got your conversations mixed up, I wasn't talking about tiebreakers.

Oops, thought you were talking about tiebreakers.

Drafting Mahomes this year on the 6th means dominance. You shouldn't be rewarded beyond that by only having to give up $1 to keep him (now the top QB) again. I think production shod matter, or the penalties for keeping a player should be comparably close.

Yeah, and Perez beat you, but you were given an opportunity to avenge that defeat. Steelers never received that same opportunity to avenge his loss to you. Yes, you have a better overall head to head record, but it's only because a quirk of the schedule granted you more opportunity.

All I'm saying is that this is why ESPN has their rule where head-to-head isn't used on 3-ways if the number of games between all parties isn't even. There's logic behind it.

What? Since when should "the chance to avenge a defeat" come into play for a tiebreaker? That's not a quirk at all. If he beat me and Perez over 2 games, he would've guaranteed himself the h2h tiebreaker. I would've had to win all 3 games to guarantee it. You can look at it either way.

All I know is that pro leagues dont have this dumbass rule. If you think ESPN is more logical that those pro leagues then idk what to tell ya... I have the highest winning percentage of all games. I should win the head-to-head tiebreaker. If it was someone else in this same position, I'd say the same thing. That rule is stupid and annoying.

I would agree with this if it wasn't fantasy football. Points for is the usual go to as h2h isn't really h2h because it's fantasy and the teams don't play each other in any actual way. But with that said, you intended h2h to be the tie breaker which is fine. It will only matter if things stay tied after this weekend. It is a very touchy subject, and I would suggest having an outside arbitrator make a ruling (potentially @PtldPlatypus ). Just my thoughts.

Kinda like your arbitrary trade deadline rule.

There should be no ruling. We should follow the rule that is in the league settings.

Yet another thread derailed by arguing about rules...

I'm willing to take the blame for this one as well.

I am swayed, I agree. It's the most simple and least arguable since ESPN set the rule, it was simply overlooked.

If TrailBlazer beats Perez it won't matter, so hopefully he does.
