where I work at I do barista, pastry display and dirty ass stock(.) I gotta work in the one chain that doesn't have a fckin dishwasher machine(.)
my first job was at a bar/grill by my house..later on I applied to a clothing outlet store and now I work at a Car Dealer.
I work at my local newspaper: Lima News. I work on the phone crew for sports. Some time I am supposed to start writing some round-ups (like little game recaps for local high school sports).
All of you guys that are 15/16 and saying you want to start working, don't. It sucks, it really sucks. Just go to school and have fun there while you can, because once you're out and you actually have to work to support yourself, you'll hate it, unless you get a kick ass job. I have two jobs, I work during the days at University Hospitals, I'm sure anyone in the Ohio area has heard of UH. Then I work nights at my local Pat Catans. I hate it, but once you get out of high school you gotta do it to be able to pay for college and all that good sh*t, unless your parents are paying for your college tuition. Anyways my advice, go for as long as you can without having to get a job.
Well I think it would be smart to build up my savings before I move out, because I for sure do want to for college so I want to have the money and then some. Most people my after don't work that much, like maybe 3 days a week and it's some good experience for when you apply for another job.

Myself im an independent person, I always wanted a job when I was younger because I wanted paper. The good thing about working all the time is no one can hold you down(except cops :thumbdn1: ) I used to have to smoke in backs of apartments when I was a kid because my mom woulda beaten the sh*t outta me if she caught me smokin in her house, bein grown I can smoke wherever I choose since I pay my bills. Working is worth it, If your 15/16 get a part-time job and save money. Your never too young to start saving money.
That's really the only benefit there is to working when you're that young, just to save what ever amount of money you can make. Part time jobs at minimum wage don't make you too much, but over a couple of years until you graduate high school, you can have a good amount of money to start on to go to college or do whatever you want to do. I'm just mad because I had a job when I was that age, and now that I'm out of high school and working two jobs, I just wish I hadn't had one back then and enjoyed what freedom I had. Because my first year of college ate through all of my savings like nothing.
I work at a resturaunt called "Newks." It's a cool job. Most of you probably haven't heard of it. It's a relatively new franchise around the Midsouth area, mainly around the Memphis Metro area. The farthest I've heard of one being is in Oxford close to Ole Miss.
Not too long. But it's more of a suburb resturaunt. There is one in Collierville, Southhaven, and one opening in Cordova.
Ah okay. I usually just go and eat around Wolfchase. Just closer, if its any good there will be one out here soon.
I work for a basketball league right now as a high school job. Just taking stats or announcing. Only on weekends, I get to choose my own hours, and get payed 8 bucks an hour for watching games. Not bad at all. Perfect job for right now before I get a real one.
