What type of money do you think he could get in FA? Or more importantly, what type of money do you think he is worth?

what he's worth: 8-10 Millionwhat he will get: 15 millionHe'd be worth more but last year was shaky. But he still has very intruiging skills and athleticism. A team will get him for more than he's worth, though, probably about 15 million dollars.

Because he's a young stud with a huge upside that does absolutely everything on the court...That's why...I'd say he's worth 12 million a year..

15 Million? No team is going to overspend for him.I think he's below guys like Rashard Lewis and Chauncey Billups in terms of the totem pole. He'll easily get above the MLE but not near max.

Gerald Wallace will get about 8-10 mill. Maybe 11 or 12 if teams are competing for him, but no less or more than that. Hes a very good player, might be a allstar one day.

There's nobody out there who's going to give him an average of $15 million per season....Maybe if he were a potential first option on offense, but he's not. He's going to get a Bobby Simmons type contract, somewhere around $45 million.

"fair value" would probably be somewhere around 5 years 45 million. But with the lack of teams with enough cap space to sign these types of players I could see him getting a bit less or even picking up his player option for next year and entering as an UFA next season.Teams with cap space (estimated $55 million salary cap) Atlanta - 7 millionCharlotte - 25 million (if they are finally allowed to use the full cap)Chicago - 8 millionMemphis - 12.5 millionMilwaukee - 15 millionNew Jersey - 10 million (if Carter opts out)Orlando - 15 millionSeattle - 5 million (after Lewis opts out)Toronto - 5 millionWashington - 12 million (if Jamison opts out; not likely to happen)<ul>[*] Atlanta may or may not get a draft pick that would cut into their cap space by half.
<ul>[*] Chicago has to start paying all of their young players starting next year so you figure they won't do anything.
<ul>[*]Seattle & Toronto will have draft picks that will take up most of their available cap space
That leaves Charlotte, Memphis, Milwaukee, New Jersey and Orlando as teams with the cap space to sign him.
