And that is where we live. When we win, it’s a fluke to some but lose a couple games and everyone wants to blow up the team or quit. It’s better to be a pretty good team to me than mediocre or bad. Pretty good has a chance in playoffs. Dallas was pretty good team in 2011 and won title. Also- think long game. Maybe this isn’t our year. Maybe our year in 2021. Bro patient. Yes we got swept in playoffs but Pelicans may not even make playoffs this year and may lose their star. We were never going to go 96-0. We’ve beaten Spurs, Bucks, Lakers, Celtics, Pacers, Clippers, Rockets and upstart Magic (twice), all wins to hang our hat on. And we are only 1.5 games behind Warriors. Let’s get Harkless up to speed, get back Turner, and go on the 13 game win streak we know we can go on. Also don’t forget to enjoy the little (big) things like Dame hitting a franchise best 10 threes in a single game just a few days ago. This season is just getting started! Go Blazers!

Also I'd almost rather they didn't get Turner back... We've also lost to the Wizards, to the Lakers twice, to the Spurs and have gotten ran out of the gym a few times.

They're still in the thick of the playoff battle it's not all bad. Even if they win 13 in a row again they'll still be judged by what they do in the playoffs (if they make it). A lot of games left.

Losers of 12 of our last 13 playoff games. Mediocre almost seems generous .

Awesome rally thread KS! I'm still cheering!...the bench needs to really just get back on track and the defense needs to become the priority again..Go Blazers! The west as fickle as it's ever been....Just look at the Kings and then the Rockets...nobody saw this western standings coming and it's going to ping pong more than likely for sometime to come. Two guys getting 30 and a bench shooting blanks isn't going to win many...need 6 guys in double digit scoring again like the first 10 games!

Yes riverman! Our defense has actually been elite for a quarter here and a quarter there but we never commit to it for a whole game. The potential is there.

What's dispiriting is that we had an advantage over other teams because we had a pretty stable core, and it seems pretty likely that our early success was just because other teams were still looking for chemistry, but now they've found it, we're fucked.
