Seems like many are pointing to the defense for our struggles but we were pretty good defensively last year and it didn’t help us any in the playoffs. We need a legit third guy that teams will respect and adjust the way they defend our guards. Is Melo that guy? Idk, but considering where we’re at and what it would cost, I’m willing to find out

It would be Baldwin. Not much of a loss, and I say that as a guy who likes Baldwin.

Whats funny is how they talk about bringing in a guy to teach the young guys stuff. NO doesnt seem to value that veteran guy who can teach the young players either.

Really doesn't matter to me one way or another. He could hit a shot or two but he isn't gonna help on defense at this point. Aminu will play before him if they were to pick him up.

I wasnt really talking about Melo. I just think having an old vet around to teach the younger players is something the Blazers have lacked for a while.

Gerald Henderson (hip surgery) is planning a comeback in 2018-19.
Henderson had hip surgery back in August, but he's medically cleared for about a couple months. He's currently working on his conditioning and hopes to land another job in the NBA for next season. The 30-year-old wing said he's willing to accept any role, but he's well off the fantasy radar for now. Apr 15 - 11:24 AM

Bonding with teammates became one coping mechanism. Henderson and Walker were fast friends, and shopping buddies. Last week, when the Hornets were in Oklahoma City, Walker texted Henderson -- currently rehabbing from an Achilles tear he suffered a few months ago, and hasn't disclosed until now -- to reminisce about the time they stayed so late in an Oklahoma City mall, they found themselves locked inside after closing. (A maintenance worker let them out around midnight.)
