    So stupid. Portland is such a great hockey town. I really hope they get a team someday. If not then Houston

    Agreed. It's pathetic how little effort is truly made to bring an NHL team here. They already have an existing arena, that won't be being rebuilt for at least the 3rd time (and still small).

    Oh well, Portland might get a baseball team in 7 years...

    I believe the Totems used to be a hockey team in Seattle. So were the Metropolitans.

    I wish we were getting an NHL team so that we could think of team names for a hockey team rather than a baseball team.

    This new competition for the fan dollar reduces the chance of the NBA returning to Seattle. Not that I expected it to return.
