    This is exactly why Id love to see Dame play for another coach.
    The team NEEDS to hear a different message if they honestly think its due to not being fresh.

    What percentage of defense would you say is effort?

    Even if I give you a very generous number and say it's only 33% of a good defense, you still can't argue that it isn't a factor in the lack of defense right now.

    This has been ugly. At first, I thought it just was teams catching us on hot nights ... guys who haven't made shots all years were making shots against us.

    But now everything seems off. Our chemistry seems a mess.

    I wonder if having Layman going from starting to not seeing any time is at least part of it. I know he's not a big part of the equation, but our fall has coincided with Harkless returning. And we have played a tougher schedule. But we haven't played really well in any of these games.

    I'm very concerned.

    And yes, I agree. Even Dame gave up on Defense just now. No emotion with this team. Just going through the motions.
