just saw this in the NBA column in ESPN the magazine...<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Good news on the Shaun Livingston front; The Clippers' rehab of his dislocated knee and torn ligaments is ahead of the original eight month time frame. After first looking as if he might miss all of next season, he could be back as early as training camp. A source says that Livingston, who is eligible for a six-year contract extension until Oct. 31, thinking he'll take the minimum one-year deal so he can test free agency in 2008</div>Last part may not be good news for Clippers fans. But it's good to see he's not only doing well, but he's actually ahead of schedule. I really like this kid and I hope his youth will help him recover from this injury faster. I would hate to see his career be tarnished because of that freak injury.
Yeah, he's really optimistic about the situation. Doctors said his injury was catastrophic to the point some people thought he may not play again. But, it's good to see he's doing well because he showed signs of being a very good NBA player. I wish him the best of luck.
The injury was by far the most unrealistic thing I've ever seen happen...it belongs on the show on MTV "Scarred"...I cant even watch that show, when I saw how he landed normally and his knee just went out, I was weak...
Before his injury, other Clipper players were saying he was dominating practices and really reaching some of his potential. Hopefully he wont rush it, they guy came out highschool so he can miss most of the season and its not like hes missing out on something.
Yeah, I see a good outlook for him if he can take his time and do the right things from now to whenever he gets back to playing competive basketball, I wish him good luck.
He is ahead of the 8 month time frame...please. The doctors always make the time frame bigger than it is, so when he is healthy ahead of time, who looks like the hero? Exactly.

Players are also not always ahead of the time table, that's a complete BS comment LakersFan. Tell that to Magic fans who waited for Grant Hill after that guy had injury after injury after injury. He was always recovering well and on pace to return; he never met any of those dates or predicitions.

What I said is true so many times. Especially for people with a time frame to live (as in cancer etc.) A little different of couse, The doctor will say he has 3 months to live, and puts him under their treatment, and he will live up to a year. Makes the doctor look good. I'm just speaking from life situations in general. It sucks.
