You literally missed the only really good part of the game.

I know I hadn't been asleep since 9PM yesterday and I was on this comfy ottoman. I was dozing off for a couple minutes at a time throughout the game then I literally fell asleep and starting dreaming up the game instead of watching it so I didn't know haha.

I was glad to see Layman be aggressive with his shot tonight. They weren’t falling, but it was good to see him out there with some confidence. Give him some more run with that second unit and see how he responds.

I wasn't saying it was good or bad, but I've heard people for the last 3-4 years always say that Covington is some great shooter. He isn't anything special. He's shooting well this year otherwise he'd be under 40% for his career fg%.

It would be like if people kept referring to Batum as a great shooter. It doesn't make sense to me.

I woke up now and first to see how Portland played, great win! So glad for the team and Nurk' play as well. Must quote myself - just belief in our weapon, we can beat these teams. Need something additionally for highest level, but for the games like these - i see Portland is capable. No doubt for me.

I seem to remember his very first account was banned due to threatening someone on the forum with violence.

Thank you for cleaning up the game threads a little.

It is not bad. League average for teams is 35%. Dame shoots 36% from 3 this year

This kind of think happened to me all the time in middle school/high school. I used to wake up, stop my alarm then fall back half-asleep while dreaming up that I was waking up, going to school etc. Then at some point... oh wait, shitshitshitshitshit !!

I was going to say that this victory was tainted because their best player (Covington) was out, but then I saw we didn't play Curry, so fair's fair.

That's an interesting discussion. If money wasn't involved it would be close between Porter and Covington. Porter is the better shooter, has a major length advantage, and can probably create a little better. Covington is a better defender and if we're talking about fit on the Blazers would probably make this team better than Porter. I don't know how much playing on Washington is limiting Porter's ability.

If you factor in contracts Covington wins in a landslide.

A player like him would be a boon for this team.

Without looking up stats in my previous post, that is pretty much what I thought.

This year Covington is better, career I'd take Porter.
