Not much new, but a good read. https://bleacherreport.com/articles...om&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=editorial I did think that this bit was funny:
"Since Nurkic's arrival, the Trail Blazers have gone 82-54. This season they find themselves, as usual, bunched in a clogged Western Conference. While last spring's flameout in the first round to the lower-seeded Pelicans prompted a lot of talk of changing the roster, the club has opted, for now, to run it back with essentially the same group. Improvement, the type that allows for a playoff series win, will need to come internally. For that, the organization is looking for Nurkic to become a third pillar alongside Lillard and CJ McCollum." > I believe Nurk is better than last year. What we need is the coaching that lands us in the playoff win column.
P.S. For those who don't know, this is a pillory: The pillory is a device made of a wooden or metal framework erected on a post, with holes for securing the head and hands, formerly used for punishment by public humiliation. AKA - the precursor to the internet discussion board. BNM
I think it was around this time last year, maybe a bit earlier, that I noted how buddy buddy Dame and Nurk were becoming, and how CJ seemed to be the odd man out. His game never really did recover to his MIP season levels.
