https://www.cheatsheet.com/culture/...st-corrupt-in-america-for-2017.html/5/?ref=OB As was the case in Vermont, elected officials in Oregon assumed the best in their colleagues. This situation left a hole in ethics investigations when the state really needed them in recent years. That factor, along with terrible political finance laws (49th in the U.S.), landed Oregon an F in government integrity. The public’s access to state records should also be greater.

This is a rare post with some redeeming value. Although even so it would have been a lot more useful if you'd linked instead the source for your very very brief article: https://publicintegrity.org/account...-grade-in-2015-state-integrity-investigation/ which explains how the scores came about. barfo
Thanks. Apparently that was my source's source. Much more complete, more grades, and much grimmer for Oregonians. An overall D among the 50 states. Decades of Dems in control with their organized graft, populating of agencies with criminal cohorts, and a refusal to enact even basic laws or oversight.
Oregon's own S2 has always been tainted with payola...50 bucks to ban someone..the nerve! 100 dollar bets that never get paid!
All I could get out of the OPB report was that Kolenc was fired in 2016 from mismanaging Kate's campaign budget. Seems like she took the appropriate action. As for "Freetelegraph" -> LOL
