Do Hawks really go Brandan Wright with Marvin Williams and Josh Smith both there?

They have a bunch of multi-dimentional forwards and they have to go for the best value with the third pick. It's pretty clear that a PG will be there at the 11th pick for them. PG - Acie Law SG - Joe Johnson SF - Josh Smith PF - Brandan Wright C - Shelden Williams Bench SG/SF/PF - Marvin Williams SG/SF - Josh Childress PF/C - Zaur Pachulia It's clear that the Hawks won't be able to start everyone, or keep all these players on the team, because they don't fit and these guys when their contracts are up and going to want to leave if they don't start. Brandan Wright's much better potential wise than Marvin Williams or Josh Childress, and Marvin Williams is not a real PF, so I think the Hawks just grab the best player on the board.

I'm so sick of watching Marvin Williams play, I'd like to see him traded. I dont think we should get Wright anyway, I don't know what type of impact he'd make as a rookie.

I dont get when CB32 says he will trade this pick. The Celtics will have to throw in alot to jump up 2 more spots. With 1 and 2 untouchable, and Atlanta desperately in need of 3, I dont get what Memphis would take to swap with the Celtics. I think the Celtics will draft a project, and see how it works out.EDIT: To add, if you go for Oneal/Gasol, it just hurts your team more. It would be better to blow it up then, instead of adding 10 year vets like JO and add them to a vet like Pierce and then leave your only youth movement for Al Jefferson and Rondo. You want a strong young core right?

With a #5 pick and a couple young guys, you can get ALOT in return.. It's a solid idea, and you'd still have a strong young core.PG: RondoSG: ------ Green, Allen, West, Szerbiak, I have no idea who you got at SG now a days..SF: PiercePF: O'Neil/GasolC: Jefferson

He is one of the top talents in the draft, as well as the top talent in the draft at his position. He can run an offense better, set up teamates off of his passes better and a better court awareness than Acie Law. For a team that has had point guard problems since Mookie Blalock, I don't see how on earth they could pass on the best point guard in the draft.

Team doesn't need another young forward.

We won't trade up in the draft, we will package this pick with some young pieces and Ratliff's contract, and we'll get a good veteran or two in return. Book it.

Also, adding an All-Star big man hurts this team... yeah, Pierce/star 2/Jefferson = hell. [IMG] Even if we deal 2-3 young players, this pick, and Ratliff's contract, we'll still have more than enough youth on this team (Jefferson, Rondo, Allen, then 2-3 more core players.. plus the 32nd pick). We have TOO MUCH youth, we need veterans.

    Al Jefferson
    Rajon Rondo
    Gerald Green
    Delonte West
    Tony Allen
    Ryan Gomes
    Kendrick Perkins
    Sebastian Telfair
    Leon Powe
    Allan Ray

Are you telling me that we can't afford to deal 2-3 of them?
