The Celtics will test out Sergio Sanchez this Summer - The franchise would like to test out Sanchez as a backup to Rondo. - The Celtics are the owners of the rights to Miralles, who also should be invited to Summer League. The Students base Sergio Sanchez will play with the Boston Celtics in the Summer League. The franchise wants, according to Mark, to prove the school player as substitute of Rajon Rondo, base selected by the 'Celtics ' in the past 'draft' of the NBA, in this hard summer league that will be disputed (played) from July 6 until July 15 in the last arena where the 'All Star' game was held( basically Vegas is what there trying to say ).The franchise of Boston also has the option to invite to this Summer league Albert Miralles, centre ( center ) of the Pamesa ( team overseas ). After overcoming a few problems at the start of the season, the Catalan player has reached his best level during the 'playoffs' of the ACB.The Celtics are the owners of the NBA rights of Miralles, since they achieved last year in a trade with Miami (that received him because of the Raptors, which selected him in the 'draft').Fernando Mart?n, Jos? Miguel Ant?nez, Tom?s Jofresa, Rodrigo de la Fuente and player Albert Miralles are some of the Spanish players who have proved themselves in the competitive summer leagues of the NBA, whereas other Spanish as Alberto Herreros (Pacers), Javier Mendiburu (Bucks) and Ferr?n Mart?nez (Raptors), were proving themselves in trainings ( workouts ).This is translated from Spanish to Englishhttp://www.20minutos.es/noticia/237998/0/S...anchez/Celtics/Miralles is supposedly a hell of a player and could probably beat Powe for a roster spot. I heard in the playoffs he performed very very strong and is improving tremendously. We own the rights to him and can bring him to the team if he is impressive in the summer league.http://youtube.com/watch?v=pF93wOAqMms
Nice find playa, I'm not that impressed with any of the players. If you're going to test anyone for back-up point guard test Will Bynum. I loved that kid. Apparently, he's ballin' in Israel. Great back-up for Rondo.
I don't really know what these kids will bring to the table, but if they can play, gotta get them on the team, no doubt about it. Nothing wrong with giving them a shot.
Yeah definitely give these guys a shot. Like yanks said, if they can play, I'd welcome them with open arms. For all we know, we could have another Jorge Garbajosa type player that can make an impact. I'd like to get an international player in Boston anyway, we don't have any and we haven't since Jiri Welsch. I'm sure these guys could contribute more to a basketball team than Allan Ray's 3-point shot (a streaky one, at that).
