Al Jeff and Pierce should be untouchable, at least he knows something. I think you also got to add Rondo. I mean, I had my doubts about this kid but they have completely vanish. Great kid. Also, I would not be quick to not name Green untouchable, he, in my opinion is going to be a terrific player in the NBA.

Yeah I agree Yankshater. It's the only two reasons why I watch the Boston Celtics right now. Although I don't completely buy him when he says Pierce is untouchable. He loves the youth, he'll do anything he can to hang onto the youth. Pierce's contract makes him hard to deal and get good things in return but I don't 100% believe he wouldn't trade Pierce if a good deal was on the table.

High54life, your 16, stop calling Rajon Rondo a kid...I hate it when fans do that, just trying to sound like a ESPN analyst.I think its stupid for Paul Pierce to be untouchable. I think its obvious Boston is going to be good in the future, but when they are good PP will probably be outve his prime. Put him on the block, see what kindve young players, exirings and draft picks are offered. I think its only best for Boston. I know he IS the franchise, but Boston is better off building around a big man, Al Jefferson, anyways. Thats just my opinion.Al Jefferson should be untouchable unless yall get offered the 1st or 2nd overall pick..lol.

I half agree. We should certainly pursue a guy like Garnett, Gasol, or Jermaine before we put Pierce on the block. But like I have said the past couple days, if we don't get a veteran All-Star like that to put with Pierce and Jefferson, then it would make sense for both Paul Pierce and the organization to deal him. But I'm not ready to "end the Paul Pierce era" yet, we'll see what happens this summer. We have the pieces to get something, time will tell. We'll know by the end of June.

Defiently, if yall can get a allstar caliber player along with Pierce, defiently keep PP.
