Who should Minnesota take in the draft? A few ideas are Roy Hibbert, Spencer Hawes, and possibly Corey Brewer.

I think the Timberwolves have to just go with the best player on the board. On that roster, they don't have much set, and I don't think the Timberwolves are in a position to pick based on a position. They just need the best player/talent there. Outside of Garnett/Foye, there's nobody real outstanding that can't be benched.

    Re: T'Wolves Draft

Me and CB32 was talking about the T'wolves the other day, and I really do think that Minnesota is in the worst condition of any franchise in the NBA. They have a bad GM that makes stupid deals, no coach, only two young players on the roster for the future in Mccants and Foye who are both small combo guards, they are not good in the cap, no true low post presence either defensively or offensively, and they keep on finishing just high enough to miss the playoffs by a couple of games so they don't get top 5 draft picks usually either. I agree alot with BCB, I think they go for the best player on the board at that point in time. They are to terrible to worry about position especially with Roy Hibbert going back to college now.

I agree with BCB, they just need to take the best player available, regardless of position. They don't have a real point guard, Ricky Davis won't be there long term, KG is likely gone soon, and Mark Blount... well, he's just Mark Blount. The bench is weak. Valo covered it all, we talked about it. Minnesota is a mess, they need a bright spot period. Take the best player available (which is going to produce a very good player at 7: Brewer? Horford? Yi? Green? J. Wright? Hawes?).

If Conley Jr. falls to 7 somehow I'll take him. Foye isn't a natural 1. If not I'll be happy with either Coery Brewer or Julian Wright.

Jeff Green. They do need a center badly, but if Al Horford is gone by then, I don't think they should reach on Spencer Hawes. Jeff Green scores inside, plays D, he drives, he's aggressive and athletic, good at reebs and passing...He's a do everything player, and he would give the Wolves alot more talent for KG to rely on.
