..It just opens up room for a player who I think will be a non-stop offensive threat/all-star player, Gerald Green. The kid has all the talent in the world. He just needs to learn the game. His IQ has to get better, way better, and he needs to learn the fundamentals of the game. Yes, this is understood, and I think the first player to notice this is Gerald. But, he has great work ethic! He strives get better each year, and he's very coachable. He's defense needs help, but I believe if you want to get better at something this much you can do it. I have faith in Gerald. Do I think he's going to be the next MJ? No, I just get real immature sometimes, but who doesn't get immature sometimes. We needs to open up some room for him to break-out and develop as a player. Some of you think it is unsafe to put Gerald in a starting spot due to the sake of us winning games. But Gerald's got a heart of a champion. He loves to work and play for the Celtics. If you noticed, he is the first player on the bench giving his teammates high-fives, congratulating them and just real enthusiastic about winning and his team. Ok, call me a lover/dreamer/d*ckrider, all that sh*t but hear me on this, given the right coaching, hard-work and system in Boston, I am extremely positive that Gerald Green will be a top 10 scorer/top 20 player in this league. With some hard work and experience and good coaching I think we have ourselves a new star. Guys? How about you?

If Gerald Green showed up on your doorstep and asked for a quickie, you'd probably give it to him, and then some more. The kids got game, but wow, get off his f*cking cock.

You think just because I say two words about Gerald, I want to make babies with him. You're just a moron. Who is like 12 years old! Now, go and talk about what you did in arts and crafts today, kid. :no3:

Nobody is saying Gerald doesn't have skill or anything, but your just overrating him to much you make it sound like he's an immortal. Maybe one day he will be and you'll be right but it's to early to tell.

I think if he gets some good minutes this season, we could se him as a starter in 08-09. I think Rondo is more prepared to take over a starting spot than Green. Gerald's got to come out and be this team's sixth man and just hustle his a** off, because if he doesn't the Celtics will look like idiots for taking him.

With him being the starting point because they don't have anyone else.

Meh, he's still young.T-Mac didn't look so good in his first few years in T.O. but he started to put it together. There's still plenty of time to have it click for GG too.it's just that based on what he's shown, he looks like a classic case of a great athlete with very little between the ears when he's on the court.

Brandon Roy > Gerald Green I just look at Green, he's not a very good all-around player. He doesn't bring much to the game other than scoring the ball.

He's getting minutes and just flat out better than Green. But hear this; Portland back in the 05' draft we very high on Gerald but decide to pick Martell Webster. Gerald, in my opinion, didn't have a body for the NBA back then. But now he's improve tremendously. He improved his defense from very bad to bad/average.
