He bet me that the Warriors would win 50 games next season. Do you guys really think so? I just think they rode a high in the playoffs beating the mavs, but are not at the 50 win level IMO. I just think Don Nelson just really knows how to coach the Mavs.

They play the type of basketball that wins a ton of games. Phoenix wins a ton of games because they are a fastbreak team with a ton of shooters and a few post guys. Monta Ellis and Andris Biedrins are only getting better. Barring an injury from a top guy like Baron Davis, I don't see why the Warriors can't win 50.
I'd like to add that I made this bet before the playoffs began, so it wasn't a reaction to the Warriors beating the mavs.

Who knows? Baron Davis probably will return to his old unmotivated self after getting a huge load of money but this GS team is a lot more talented than it has been the last 20 years. I'd say they'll win at least 40
Since that trade with Indiana, things have been going golden states way. With Al Harrington running the post and their great guard play I could see them winning 50 games next season very possibly.
^^ But you have to into note that the Warriors are in a tough conference and division. They are in the pacific with a healthy Laker team next year nad a more inspired PHX Suns team after this years playoffs. I could see them winning a max 44 games.
