http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writ....nba/index.html Look at what he does with the Hawks 11th pick, is he serious? Nick Young? They don't even need him? I just don't get it at all...then he has Acie Law going to the Hornets? WTF. What a mess.
I'd have to agree with you BCB; he also has Rodney Stuckey going at 18 to the Warriors and Brandon Rush at the 14th to the Clippers. They definatly arent going in the lottery. They are late first rounders at the most to me, not because of thier skills, but because thats where they're stock is at.
Alot of flaws in that mock draft.Celtics selection Corey Brewer? We don't need a swingman. We need someone like Yi Jianlin if that was the case. Atlanta would probably take Acie Law IV with the third pick. Hawks needing a point guard so they could possibly move JJ to the 2. Wolves taking yet again ANOTHER guard? When are they going to realize that the Wolves need another bigman along with Garnett to be dominate.
Yeah, I have seen a few places say that Acie would go to the Hornets, but I never understood why. I really wouldn't mind Acie dropping to a team like NOK or Detroit, but I feel like it's really unlikely.
I think Acie might go at 3, IMO Conley is sortve overrated. Acie Law is going to be a big time player late in games.

We won't take Law at 3. Conley can contribute right away, he's younger than Law, more potential, better passer and defender. It's a given that the 3rd pick is going to be Conley, Wright, or Jianlian. Billy Knight LOVES Jianlian..

And dont talk to me like that, if you want to prove me wrong, do it intelligently and not like a 10 yr old kid.Conley is good and all, but my opinion is Acie Law is better, and teams dont draft just based on their collegic career. Thats why they have workouts and that type of thing. I think when these players are being worked out scouts will realize Acie Law is better.

The Wolves currently don't have a true point guard, and Conley would bring that to the team.

To say that you'd take Law at 3 is ridiculous.
I think taking Conley at 3 is ridiculous. This draft defiently lacks PGs...but neither are worthy of 3rd overall pick. But I just htink Acie Law is the better player and will be a better pro. But thats just me, the only reason Conley is scouted higher than Acie Law is because he was the guy with Oden who got Ohio St. to the Championship Game. But before, Conley was being projected as a mid to late 1st rnd pick as Acie Law was top 14..which most consider lottery.

I can't see a situation where Law goes above Conley is all.
I think Spencer Hawes to Detroit wouldn't work. I understand they wanna get young centers for when Webber, McDyess, Nazr and Dale Davis retire, they will have him and Maxiell but I think he will become a bust by then. He could be the next Darko Milicic.
