Should they go with a PG? I think they have to, Livingston is a walking injury - he's still recovering ahead of time but he'll be out for a while still. Before the injury they pretty much had no depth there with Livingston out. They should look for Law to slide, which is doubtful, or go with Crittenton. If I were a Clippers fan, I'd be satisfied with either GT stud, Crittenton or Young. Both of them fill holes...
Either of those picks would be great for the Clippers. Crittenton is an up-tempo PG, and LA has some athletes that can run the floor. Sam Cassell had a rocky year, too, and I don't think he'll still be the backup PG for them. Young would be a great additon, as well. He had an underrated year as a freshman, he's long, and he's athletic. Maggette may leave the Clipps this summer or at the trade deadline and Young would be a great player to replace him with. By the way, the Clippers have the 14th pick. Detroit has the 15th pick, just letting you know.
Yeah, it is pick fourteen. I'm thinking Acie Law IV, he could be there, but it is far too early to tell.If Corey Maggette is traded this offseason, I'd go Al Thorton or Thaddeus Young, some stud SF, and trade Maggette for a guard.
