<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (High54Life @ May 25 2007, 05:02 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>What does this have to do with Pierce and Jefferson?</div> You have nothing to trade him for. You pick up his $40 M without trading those two.
lolHaha that is crazy..getgarnett.com but this is a stupid thread and you're just gonna be one of the Jon Barrys of the world and get absolutely demolished by Celtics fans..you already do.Shutup and wait till things happen. Anybody could of made this thread and it puts no input, it's just a waste of a thread and fills the Celtics section with spam. We most likely will not get Garnett and the chances are slim. Minnesota isn't even gonna think about this unless Jefferson is involved and no I'd rather not do that and find another deal for a guy like Gasol instead if that's what maks or breaks the deal.Theo Ratliff, Gerald Green, Delonte West and the pick are probably not going to get us KG..actually let me reword that it will not get us KG. The Lakers have a much prettier package to offer as well as the Bulls. I'd love to get Garnett though because I think if you team him up with a guy like Pierce with a point guard like Rondo a lot of fun things could happen. If we could somehow keep Jefferson as well and have a starting front line of Jefferson, Garnett, Pierce then Danny Ainge is a God, but this will not happen and it's a bit farfetched unless Jefferson's involved.
Unless Al Jefferson is included in the deal, there's no way Kevin Garnett is coming to Boston. So, looks like your fantasy is over.

I'm with you, it's a long shot at best. I don't see KG coming to Boston, but we could indeed put together an intriguing package.

Plus If Gerald is included, they will have loads of talent and before you know it Minnesota is back to the playoffs in a couple years.Hey, I'm the one being optimistic here. You're just being a tight-ass and holding grudges against me all the time. You call me a dickrider almost every post and you and others insult me for expressing my opinions, yet CB32 a "mod" doesn't do sh*t about it. But when I retaliate he tells me to stop.

I would try for it if I was the T'wolves GM and the prices matched up. With them having no real players to build for in the future outside of Foye and Mccants, who are both combo guards, they have no one on that roster that provides that team a great future. With this they will have two picks at the 5th and 7th spots. They could maybe get Horford and Brewer with those picks, or Conley(if he falls past Atlanta) and that Jianlin guy, they could go with any combination of guys and then have more people to build around for the future. Plus you get a good future scorer in Gerald Green, a contract that is expiring in Ratliff and will come off the books next year and give them some more money to have. This to me is one of the best deals out there for the T'wolves.
Boston is not getting KG if you could not get AI who Sixers were just trying to get rid of how you gonna get a rare big men hall of famer? ROFL

ROFL</div> We were low-balling for Iverson and we refused to part ways with Gerald Green or Al Jefferson (thank god). Our final offer was Theo Ratliff, Delonte West, Sebastian Telfair, and Tony Allen. This time, we are desperate for a move, ready and willing to let go of anybody except Pierce/Al/Rondo, and the best thing Minnesota could do right now is rebuild. Like valo said, it sure isn't a jaw dropping offer, but it's likely one of the best deals they can get (big expiring contract, a few young talents, and the #5 pick in this extremely deep draft). The fact of the matter is, when you deal a star like this, you always get 50-60 cents on the dollar, especially at age 31.

LOLAnd Blazers can also get KG if they want to. Bynum I would take from Laker over Green.Ah I am sure there are other teams I am just to tired to think at the momment. The Bulls want KG they will match that offer EASY I can say that much.Sorry just I do not see Green/draft pick/s being enough for KG.
Jefferson, Green, and 5th overall could do it but Boston wouldn't do that so I'm gonna say no on this. Boston won't do anything but draft someone like Yi Jianlian, add a veteran here or there and call it an off season.

The Bulls already said they're not gonna blow up their core and are gonna try to fill their low post scoring needs through the draft. The Wolves aren't gonna get a better offer except from maybe the Lakers. The offer should be someting like: Theo Ratliff, Gerald Green, Delonte West, Sebastian Telfair, Wally Szcerbiak and the #5 pick for Kevin Garnett and Mike JamesRatliff's contract expires after next season as well as Delonte West, Sebastian Telfair, Ricky DavisSzczerbiak's contract expires the next season as well as Gerald GreenThey can build around Green and the #5/#9 picks in the draft and start off fresh with some cap room. The reason our deal might hold up against LA's deal is because we have a high pick in this draft and they don't. Outside of Kwame's expiring contract, Bynum and Odom they don't have much to offer.
