I just hope someone bumps this topic at the end of next season. Then we'll see what kind of player Durant really is. I think he's going to impress alot of people and it'll be something to see. This is the first draft in a while im actually interested in.

Eh not THAT hyped because he is in Seattle and well they aren't like ESPN and everyone is saying going to be seen on national television because they aren't high marketed.

I am hyped at the fact that they got the second pick. If they lose rashard without a sign and trade and had a lower pick, they would just end up with a sh*tty offseason(.) Other than that I am not hyped at all about the sonics. Ray allen will probably decrease in skill soon while durant rises(.) Rashard is needed now(!) and this is the wrong time to have his contract up, but I aint getting into no if situations(.) The point is there is no need for the hype unless one of those big men really step their sh*t up this season conistently -Swift, Collison,Sene, Petro-(.) Or if some other player(s) show they can grow with durant as what the Blazers and bobcats are developing(.) Right now Kevin Durant is just at the birth of a microsoft stock. Rashard is right now is too versatile and one of the best at his position with all around stats and skills at an NBA level to just lose so easily(.) And at a young age(.) My boy ray needs this sh*t now(.)

Haven't read this thread, but I agree with BCB that the Seattle situation is crap. I absolutely hate the role players they have, Durant will not be a top 5 scorer for a few years, and Ray Allen will be on the decline soon.

Dude, if you draft a potential 30 ppg scorer, you're going to be a great team some day...I know that they don't have alot of talent, especially in the big men areas. They need to get rid of those poor ass excuses of big men that they have. I'm not talking about Petro...he's good...and I would also keep Saer Sene because of his potential...but they need some real big men if they're gonna do well defensively, and if they're gonna improve as a team. Ray Allen and Kevin Durant? That's gonna be a great combo too.
