By the way, there's nothing technically wrong with the last one. It was tame compared to some. This video stopped the whole thing anyway. This was the most biased left wing attempt to downplay what the dems used to say. I could have just posted the raw video.

truth is i haven't read the particular thread nor posted in it that i recall. my comments were meant only in the most general way about the common problems of nearly any contentious subject matter here and the difficulty of keeping the threads moving on track and with a little courtesy for the opposing view. i understand that some posters have an agenda that will highjack the subject to switch/steer the discussion to what they want. some are completely incapable of standing someone else's point of view. IMHO there is no need for the fun police to show up any time they disagree, or for them to define my personal positions on purely subjective topics as being acceptable to others or not. many of the subjects can be best defined in the same manner justice potter stewart quoted in a case on free speech"i know it when i see it". moderator bias likely occurs in trying to real time censor individual posts in heated discussions. i accept it for what it is. i also realize how crazy difficult the job is and how difficult it can be to define "fairness". that is all i was saying.
Absolutely true. That thread was active like a stock market tracker. I watched a video @dviss1 linked and was genuinely surprised to see that Trump said completely different stuff than I'd remembered. It was on CNN and wasn't just about Mexico. Dviss offered it as proof that Trump was racist. I linked a video in response showing Barbara Jordan saying many of the same things....crickets. No response for at least a half hour before it got locked. I would have posted another video of reasons why I don't want a wall spanning the entire border. Actually, I will go post it in that thread. The old racist white people in AZ embarrassed me a bit but evil people can want the right things for the wrong reasons.
