I don't understand how Duncan gets these two little fouls on Okur.. But then LeBron can't get jack sh*t. This is bull. Anyway, Spurs leading right now Parker went on his own little 8-0 run before the Jazz can answer.
Utah's energy tonight was outstanding. They started off extremely flat in the 1st quarter, but the intensity level was there for the rest of the night. Utah is undefeated at home in the playoffs for a reason. Utah was mentally ready for this game, and they played great basketball tonight. My main man Deron Williams was absolutely phenomenal tonight, once again. It's such a joy to watch him play, I've been a big time fan of his since his senior year at Illinois. He's one special young talent. On a side note, Bruce Bowen deserves to have someone trip him and snap his ankle in half. He tried so many of his "slick" moves, that he always gets away with. He was tripping, planting his foot underneath an opposing players foot, and pushing like a f*cking mad man. I respect Bruce Bowen a ton, he's the best perimeter defender in basketball, but he bugs the hell out of me. Tonight was ridiculous, I'm very surprised Jeff Van Gundy didn't even say anything about it.
Spurs just played terrible in the 2nd half tonight....They just gave up after a while. I find it hard to believe that they will play that bad next game...
I think it was because the game was on a Saturday Night and most people didn't stay home like a few of us did to catch the game. That or they think the playoffs are boring without the high powered offense of the Suns, or the crazy Golden State Warriors. No one respect the Spurs enough to watch them I guess, Tim Duncan may not Duncan like LeBron James, or pass like Steve Nash. But he can for sure get the job done.
I heard the Spurs didn't even sell out Game 1, Sunday game or not, that's embarrassing. I'm going to check..
They didn't sell out game 2, either. It is embarrassing, but I guess their fans are just waiting for the big show.
