There was no rap until I was somewhere around 40 or 50. I don't listen to rap except a little here and a little there. I do like the rap of Idris Elba but I don't go out of my way to listen to it. I have no knowledge of filthy language and music other than:

I haven't found proof but apparently there is a producer with last name of Coon working at that station.

 

Who knows. He could have been unconsciously thinking of some other word and got it mixed up with King. I can't rule that out.
You'd need to know his history and why oh why didn't he apologize as soon as he was made aware of his gaff?

Well unfortunately Tyler perry makes shit movies and is a part of most of those movies with all black cast members. To be honest movies in general these days suck. I feel like all the good writers are writing for tv shows. I don’t even know of any good movies I saw in 2018. Maybe a couple that were good I could say but no stand outs.

 

I have need to say it quite often. There is a dock on an Island in the Multnomah Channel that is a good place to hang out, work on the boat and
let some fish bait work all at the same time. The place is Coon Island. A couple years ago I thought to look up the history, wondering how the place got the name. I figured the place was populated with raccoons or something. Nope! Some Black folks were living there way back when.
It's still called Coon Island.
