    Wow! a Radio burst with the power of 12 months of work by our sun! That is one hell of a pulse generator in action. Old pulse Radars worked that way, storing up power in capacitor banks and building up flux field in coils in between pulses. But this sort of power is mind frying!
    Does anyone else find it disconcerting when contemplating such events to be interrupted by an ad about should a female play Santa?
