Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) is slamming associates of President Trump as "amateurs," "weaklings" and "unconvicted felons" in his new memoir. Christie writes that Trump has a "revolving door of deeply flawed individuals — amateurs, grifters, weaklings, convicted and unconvicted felons" surrounding him in his book "Let Me Finish: Trump, the Kushners, Bannon, New Jersey, and the Power of In-Your-Face Politics," according to a report from Axios. He says the people were "hustled into jobs they were never suited for, sometimes seemingly without so much as a background check via Google or Wikipedia." Christie, who backed Trump during the 2016 presidential race and was ousted from the president's transition team, wrote that "a handful of selfish individuals" undermined efforts by the ex-governor and others to ensure Trump was prepared for the presidency. "They set loose toxic forces that have made Trump’s presidency far less effective than it would otherwise have been," Christie wrote, according to Axios. "If this tragedy is ever going to be reversed, it is vital that everyone know exactly how it occurred." Christie was an early supporter of Trump's after ending his own 2016 presidential campaign, but fell out of favor with others in Trump's circles. In his memoir, he singles out White House adviser Jared Kushner, accusing the president's son-in-law of carrying out a "hit job" against him as revenge for prosecuting Kushner's father years ago. Christie prosecuted Kushner's father in 2005 when he served as U.S. attorney for New Jersey. Charles Kushner, a real estate tycoon, was charged with tax evasion and witness tampering, ultimately serving 14 months in federal prison after he pleaded guilty to 18 charges. And if Christie had gotten a position in Trump's cabinet Trump would still be surrounded by grifters and felons.
Christie is corrupt and evil and would be better suited to run a pawnshop than a government. But, he's a lot of fun to listen to and I sort of like him - as long as he's not in power. barfo
he's only saying that because he's not a good enough grifter/con man to make the cut. Kind of like when a girl isn't interested in you, you go "oh yeah? well, she only like's assholes anyways"
If you only ever saw the incident with Christie and the fan at a sporting even from recent history you'd know he is a piece of shit. He's just jealous.
Well duh, but so is the guy that he is talking about. Trump, Christie, Stone, Manafort, Gates, Cohen and toss in their Russian buddies and the list goes on.
