This one is solid too; I like Horford going to Memphis at 4. It also shows that Brandon Wright can very well fall to either 4 or 5 despite what others say. Atlanta could definitely do with Hawes at 11, but I don't see him slipping past Sacramento. Now, with the Lakers, I don't think they'd pick another PG in the first round, especially one with a scorer's mentality. I just don't see it in that triangle offense. Bellinelli looks good for Phoenix's offense, and Detroit would probably be going for Afflalo for his defense instead of Rice. I also don't think Byars will fall so far.

It's also possible that Wright/Horford could be taken 3-4 and the Celtics will be stuck with Yi Jianlian, who I think is too risky.
I don't think Colonely is likely to go to Atlanta, they aren't paticulary in the need of a PG plus I wouldn't consider him this high on my board. A likely destination would be Memphis, Boston and Charlotte.
The Hawks biggest need is a point guard that can set up the offense, hit the shooters on the outside off the dribble, and push the ball in the open court to set up their athletes like Smith, Williams, and Joe Johnson with easy buckets in transition. Conley is the point guard in this draft class best suited to do that, and is the best pick for the Hawks in my opinion.

Atlanta needs a point guard BADLY, and Boston/Charlotte are already set with their PG of the future (Felton for Charlotte, Rondo for Boston).
I would probably switch the clippers/pistons picks around. Taking Thaddeus Young would allow the clippers to be more serious in trading Corey Maggette. Give Cassell one more shot while bringing Livingston back from that brutal injury and if not they can go into next year's draft which should be loaded with high potential PGs. With Law, the Pistons would have their point guard to either back up Billups or replace him by some chance he left.With the Suns 2nd pick if Byars was still on the board I don't see them passing him up but I believe he will be gone before then so I think they would look at more of a shot blocking big rather than Fazekas, someone like Herbert Hill out of Providence. His mid range game isn't there yet but I believe he could be an better version of Steven Hunter. The defense, rebounding and shot blocking abilities plus the improved hand-eye coordination.
I think it's a solid mock except I don't see Bobcats going for two swings. They are going to go big and wing. Not both wings. And with how yours panned out, they'll take Jianlian. Cats fans are high on Yi and Brewer. But they'll better off going Yi if he falls to them and taking a wing later as they're plenty in that range. Brewer is the kicker if he falls to 8, Cats should take him. Only problem is the quality of bigs near 22. Marc Gasol might an option. But I see Cats going Yi at 8 in this one.
Solid draft.except I see someone taking a shot at Jialin sooner than 9th.and they'll most likely regret it too.also saw a draft board that had Affalo going to Utah.. seems to make sense as he's a solid non-risk taking player.the kinda Sloan likes.

It would be tough to fit both of them in the lineup, not to mention Derek Fisher, Matt Harpring, and Gordan Giricek. Ronnie Brewer is going to be a good player in this league, and he's longer and more versatile than Afflalo is. We'll see what happens, but I don't see Utah taking a guy like him if he's there.
I thought that I might be a little high on Gabe Pruitt, but he's my boy.I agree though, Yi Jianlian should go to Charlotte. If I did that, then Jeff Green would fall to either ten or twelve, depending on whether the Bulls take Joakim Noah and the Kings take Spencer Hawes.
