I went their this morning to get a library card, and found a DVD section on the second floor....it has all the Lost, Seinfeld, XFiles, Everybody Loves Raymond, 24, Sopranos, Simpsons...etc...on DVD, complete seasons...I almost fell over, I didn't think the library had all this stuff, it's awesome because I don't have to pay for videos anymore. Do you guys have a big DVD section in your library?
My library is 5 stories up, everything is glass. You can rent rooms for reading, we have 2 m-effing huge cafes in it, 4 book stores, I think like 150 computers, 5 outside reading areas, a awesome ass kid section, and I heard they are building a projection screen room you can rent out for movies or shows or whatever. AND, its right in the middle of the freaking ghetto. My library>your librarybtw, we have the Simpsons, 24, Sopranos, Lost, Rome, Dane Cook specials, and Goosbumps.
My library sucks...Bad. We have one and a half stories. We have a bout 20 computers, which are always in use. We have some good DVDs and movies but the good ones are always out. We have CDs but they are always gone. We have a lot of magazines to read, but they are always missing pages. I wish we had a cool library. Nobody cares about where I live.
I haven't been in OU's library yet. I'm sure I will be a lot. It seems pretty good. Being the #1 research center in Oklahoma, that means something I guess. A good library doesn't necessarily mean it has to have a DVD section

my local library sucks, which is ironic since we're in a region with 2 of the 5 most educated towns in California.
