I mean define good. I think he’s a decent role player. He’s an excellent spot up shooter, which alone should make him attractive to Portland.

3 of the 5 players you listed were 1st round picks, so fans who claim to watch a lot of basketball should know them.

Never said I didn’t “know” who they were. Just said they were no name players. Guys who don’t register, or didn’t realize they stuck with a team. Had never heard of the coach before to be honest.
Wonder how many first rounds picks there have been who people have no clue who they are. Quite a bit I’d think,

C'mon man, that's a bit of a cop out. Omari Spellman was the starting big man for the NCAA Champs last year and a 1st round pick. Once again, if you don't know him you probably don't follow basketball very closely. Kevin Huerter played in the ACC for Maryland and was the 19th pick in this past draft. The Blazers had the 24th pick so people who follow basketball would have known him as a potential pick for the Blazers heading into that draft.

Have we ever put up two 45 point quarters in the same game? Atlanta did last week against the Thunder.

I don’t watch much college basketball. If you were to go back into the last 10 years Mock Draft threads, you will never see me post. I’ve rarely had opinions on colleges players. I watch the NBA.
This season I have been watching Duke games, and I always watch the Ducks. “Cop out”?

    Interesting response.
My wife would say i follow basketball pretty close. Certainly the Blazers. I guess you would say i don't follow basketball very closely. I have heard of Spellman and i even think i watched him play in the tourney. i kind of remember him getting drafted but i would not have been able to tell you by what team?
This is just interesting to me. Not a knock on anyone or their understanding of the game.

But other than the really good teams like the Warriors, I'm guessing you don't know a bunch of players on every roster, right? That's totally normal, especially for fans who mostly only watch the Blazers.

My point is if you are into the rest of the NBA, college basketball, and/or the draft these guys aren't no names.

I honestly think I could name the team that every player plays on (except for two-way players, but I could get a few of those). Could probably name 75% of their colleges/countries too.

Would be fun to test that.

a lot of NBA fans pay no attention to college hoops or even the draft other than their own team...I'm one...I couldn't tell you who the top 10 picks were last draft without looking it up.....then a guy like Doncic shows up and you know who he is first year

Funny you mention Huerter and the draft. If I remember my own thoughts correctly, he was the only guy I actively did not want. But that might’ve been a superficial thing because boy looks rough.

I was happy when Atlanta took him at 19 and when the Bucks took Divencenzo a couple picks earlier because I was worried Olshey would take either one if available.

Huerter has had some injuries but he's also put up a few pretty nice looking stat lines over the last couple weeks. I didn't think he had the playmaking ability he's starting to show. Some of that is probably the high pace Atlanta plays at.
