I never thought you would invent a concoction like this. Must be great. Is Lockmead milk an item you find in your super market or is a trend setting expensive item you find elsewhere.?
Try lots of ice with your water. I even put water bottles in the freezer just long enough to make them half frozen. I then crunch the bottles with my (massive) hands and drink the icy water. Delicious.
Dari Mart carries it...local milk I think from Benton or Lane County...their ice cream is a good as I've had
I grew up on a dairy farm in Iowa on raw milk, butter and cream....went from that to powdered milk in the Navy...yuck
I got powdered milk, powdered eggs and powdered pancake mix mixed with water to make pancakes along with kayro syrup for my meals in Vietnam. Yep, that was my total dinner.
My Grandfather from my mothers side started a dairy in 1920. He made it a point to put the word homogenized in the brick of the front side building.
They provide Kuerig cups at work and I am a cheap ass. 1 cream 1 sugar. On the weekend I will sometimes go to this Cuban spot I found down here and get a cafe con leche. Best shit I've ever had. When I'm on vacation I have my Bailey's with a splash of coffee.
We got that when I was a kid just for being poor. Didn't even have to go to Vietnam. My uncle already had anyway.
You had some food. I've gone through dinner time with nothing to eat. My wife has gone days without food when she was young and growing up during the Korean War and it's aftermath. Now, when we go to the grocery store it's no holds barred. She'll ask me what I want for dinner and as a joke I'll say steak and lobster. Thinking that's the end of it I'll return to doing something else. Next thing I know, she'll say dinner's ready and I'll find steak, lobster and grilled asparagus tips on my plate. The steak will be prime and the lobster will come from Maine. How can I complain?
