Is it only not bogus when it enforces what you want it to say?
Do you have anything credible? I'd love for you to explain the science that allows for the ice to melt and the sea level to rise as it gets colder. There's a Nobel prize at stake.
Theres I dunno like a million sites and just as credible as anything you could post talking about dark spots on the sun. I dont know what you want. My entire point was that we should research it, study it, not pretend like we know everything, Not make it into a political debate. Your response was literally well if they disagree with me its all because of politics. The earths Climate is extremely complex and effected Im sure by humans but also by many other things. The sea levels rise and fall and ice ages have been cyclical for basically the earths existence so... Im not denying the climate changes, or that humans have some sort of effect on it. I just believe there is a whole heck of a lot we dont know too.
1. All these credible sites should make it very easy for you to produce one. I produced one and you have yet to refute it. 2. All the times the sea level has risen in the past the ambient temperature has also risen. This new phenomida is a stupendous scientific discovery. This means I can cleverly use my electric heater to freeze ice. AMAZING Where did you get your scientific education? The Art of the Deal? Trump University?
Dude... Did I ever say climate change isnt happening? Your response seems so uncalled for. I say lets study and research it, and I post several links and all you tell me im uneducated and like Trump... I dont know how to respond to this. Your obviously not being very scientific yourself if your response to someone saying lets study it and observe it is, “youre an uneducated idiot!”...
@Lanny https://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/sotc/global/201811/supplemental/page-1 On that 2016 was the hottest it dropped in 2017 and 2018, it is expected to rise again when the sun's done doing it's thing. I don't know what to tell you... If you want to try to mock me just because I think there is a lot more research that needs to be done to fully understand humanities effect on the environment than so be it I guess. I believe humans obviously do have some effect to what amount, I don't know and I think there's a lot of researchers trying to figure it out, and I believe we should continue to fund them to figure it out.
I'm a registered professional engineer. I know someth Well, that would explain my behavior that night in that seedy bar in Oakland.
Nine of the ten hottest years on record occurred in the last ten years. I smell a trend. Note the NASA chart showing the dramatic rise in CO2 which they say comes from man.
Hey, it was Obama that created DACA and it's Trump that has erased DACA. Do you see anything significant in that?
I never denied it, I just simply told you that NASA has said the earth cooled the last two years because of sunspots and you decided to tell me I am like Trump, and was educated by Trump... I am all for researching and acting upon research, never said anything different... Not sure why you feel the need to mock me for it, but that's your prerogative.
I don't consider the Washington Times credible. Do you know why? Do you know the history of that news source? "The newspaper was created by Sun Myung Moon to conservatively fight communism . . ." That was from an obscure source. Try this source from Wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Washington_Times
Well, all engineers agree on everything of course. My engineering group at work sure does... Anyways I apologize for getting into it with you and if I said anything that was offensive or personal wasn't my intent. I believe pretty stubbornly that there is a whole lot left for us to learn about the climate and all the things that affect it. Including humans. You have a good evening.
I see one President decided for all of us to do something on his own that many of us didn't want done by one man. Much like Trump eventually spending money on the wall.
I don't carry grudges. I'm over it now. I say let's forget the whole thing and please forget what I said about your knowledge on the subject, that was in a fit of uncalled for emotion. Although I don't believe in emotion getting in the way of a logical discussion, I'm sometimes weak. I'm especially weak on Global Warming because I've spent so much time and effort on the subject. I do go to church when my health allows and every time I pray for the strength to be a better Christian, husband and person. I reiterate that today. Let me close by saying you're obviously a good man.
DACA is supported by the public. https://news.gallup.com/poll/235793/record-high-americans-say-immigration-good-thing.aspx https://www.businessinsider.com/immigration-poll-trump-wall-daca-deal-2018-6 From a Washington Post Poll: "1. Americans support letting DACA recipients stay. That latest poll from the Washington Post found that 87 percent of Americans support "a program that allows undocumented immigrants to stay in the United States if they arrived here as a child, completed high school or military service and have not been convicted of a serious crime." An NBC News/Survey Monkey poll released Tuesday likewise found that 66 percent of Americans support "the DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) policy, which protects those who were brought into the United States as undocumented children from being deported."" https://www.npr.org/2018/01/23/580037717/what-the-latest-immigration-polls-do-and-dont-say
What brought that on? You know I'm not gay and I've seen no evidence that TorturedBlazerFan is gay. So, huh? Edit: One time in Atlanta over half a century ago a couple of creeps in a Volkswagon accused me of being gay. I rushed toward their car with some pretty serious anger in my eye and they took off with tires screeching. I was ready to tear the door right off their car. I'd have to do that in a wheelchair now unless the distance was less than 10 feet and then I'd be left with nothing to back up my emotion, so all is safe. Of course there's the issue of being on the other end of an electronic connection so I'd have to reach down the wires connecting us. Is that possible?
Is there a threshold for what percentage of Americans are required for a President to just do what he wants when he wants to? 51 percent?
