I have a bad feeling that that was the only move we will make other than picking up someone who gets cut to fill a slot. I hope that's not true. Trent jr. may have impressed enough to fill in for the rest of the season as far as NO is concerned. I still think we need an upgrade at the 4.
I just heard about the trade. I don't think Hood is any good. He's inconsistent, and even at his hottest, is barely competent. I don't get it at all. I don't mind losing the 2 players, but I want the picks back. I'll have to read this thread.
If this is a salary dump...Olshey usually gets something good for 2nd-round picks. I want those picks back.
I don't they pick up a player to fill the slot. It would just cost them more salary tax penalties. Now perhaps if there was another trade, they can take on another player.
I'm ambidextrous so that's what makes me special. The best of both worlds. I write and eat with my left. Throw right and can hit either right or left.
I figure this is a better sign for real moves if they did this. Was worried about the ownership situation more than anything. This indicates it might be business as usual instead of sitting on the sidelines.
Yeah he will fill the same spot on the bench as Nik did toward the end. There is just not enough time for him to play meaningful minutes. Agreed, right now the biggest need to upgrade is PF. We need a lights out shooter there.
I can't help but laugh when I think of the fan out there of another team that is like, "THAT'S IT?!? That's all they had to give up for Hood! I wish we were making moves! Why couldn't we have got in on that?" Cause I'm pretty sure if he went to the Thunder or Rockets that's what we would be saying.
Me too, though I can dribble right / left, my shooting range is only about 5-10 feet with the left. Shouldve worked on it more.
Hmm, Lebron has sure been around a lot of locker room drama for being such a great leader. Could be the GOAT eventually, never thought he’s been the type to establish a culture of accountability though. FWIW, Hood has been seemingly positive this year and already said the right things about being traded here.
My grandson is the opposite as he's predominately left handed with throwing, shooting etc., but for some reason he would hit right handed. He quit baseball when he was around 12 and concentrated on football and basketball, otherwise I would have worked with him on hitting left handed as I am sure he would have picked it up easily.
