I personally don't like to be a hypocrite but this doesn't really work as a knock against conservatives. Libs are the group that seems to preach this punishment of people for silly or old sins. If conservatives start calling for Bill Maher to be fired for his latest racist joke I'm sure they are just following the lead of the other side.
