So if that is the case, Harkless goes to the bench....and then who gets the backup minutes? Harkless sitting....because 'trade'?

Maybe I didn’t hear that right. I text the program and asked where they got that info. They responded with “never said that” I KNOW I heard them say “bye bye Moe” right after the comment about Hood. Their podcast will be up soon. I’m double checking that
One, it was a joke. Two, I generally don’t like calling any athlete who made it to the pros a “bust”, even if they didn’t make it. Even a guy like Oden. To make it far enough to have a contract with a major-league sports franchise is far more than any of us arm chair GM’s can speak about. That being said, I’m sure the Saints were disappointed with the return on investment, given his draft position and that half of his stats were garnered in the first season of his career and basically his performance decreased each season.
Stotts seems to not really like Jake and benches/DNPs him a lot for someone who has been as efficient as he has been this year.
If we are losing Moe it better be for a significant deal. Not because Moe is a top tier guy but because I don’t see any reason to move him unless we’re making a big change
anything is possible....well, not anything but I would be really surprised if Hood started. When Harkless has been out before, it's been Layman or Turner starting. I think it would be an issue to bring in Hood and start him over guys who have spent 3 or 4 seasons working hard as Blazers, It's not like Hood is Paul George, somebody obviously deserving the start something else is that everything I've seen says Hood is bad at defense. He's the worst of 4 SF's Portland has. To put him in the same lineup with Dame and CJ opens up major defensive issues, and Hood's offense is unlikely going to be efficient and consistent enough to offset the loss of perimeter defense
