Its at 2:00 central time. I thought I would post it cause theres bound to be a West/Laker question. So if your a laker fan or you wanna know everything about whats going in with Jerry West and the Lakers, check it out. They are supposed to be presenting Marc Iavaroni as head coach.Btw, Ive heard Memphis is also getting the Suns GM and exectutive vice president. Thats good news cause then we get people who have already worked together and already know how to build a team together working in the front office. Not to mention Phoenix ALWAYS find a star outve nowhere, maybe they can bring that to Memphis.

Maybe star isnt the best word..but a very good player. Joe Johnson, Boris Diaw, Barbosa like you said.

Where's ASUfan when you need him.

True, but you have to thank some of the coaching staff that brought these players along.

To sum it up, Iavaroni said Memphis will run, but only off the defense. He said the reason he picked Memphis was because of our youth in Lowry, Rudy and Hak. Said that he believes Gasol will be a Griz next season. And Heisley said Iavaroni will have a major role in picking the new GM.

I'm happy. Iavaroni is a good fit who knows how to run an up-tempo offense. The Grizzlies tried to make the transition to that type of offense lastseason, and didn't do too hot. The Grizzlies have the players/highflyers to make this offense very interesting to watch.

Not only does he know how to run that offense, and he might end up running it better than D'Antoni. Iavaroni already said we arent going to be as fast as the Suns, but we're going to have a different style of up-tempo play. But what can make Iavaroni better than D'Antoni is Iavaroni will be able to incorporate defense in that offense, which he was responsible for doing in Phoenix.
