I would love to see them get AD then spin him off to Boston in the summer for the supposive big package they are willing to give up for him. Tatum and whatever is a great start in my book. What to give up for AD? As long as it isn't DL (and it wouldn't be), then all good. It won't happen, but time to get creative Neil.

Aminu is the most likely to go IMO. Ending contract and they can't afford to re-sign him.

Here's what you don't seem to get. Not many of us want to rebuild. So... No...

Aminu is from Atlanta isn’t he? Look at the screen name....

Here’s the exchange since you shouldn’t be on that website.

You're trippin leaving Lopez (who he got for a bowl of STEAM) of your list.

When he arrived every Blazer starter besides him averaged a career number in rebounds and we were an actual contender.

Not many of us wanna keep getting bounced in the first round either. Not many of us are happy with being regular season studs just to flame out in 4-5 games of the postseason. Change isn’t always bad.

No way Olshey dumps Aminu without another PF coming back in the same trade, or another one.

I could see Aminu and Moe for Mirotic and filler (ie Frazier)

To be honest if Aminu leaves and no PF is coming back Jake would probably start.

Imagine keeping Lillard, not being able to build around the two in a year and a half, Davis walks right the fuck over to LA, they become champions, and we lose our whole core...

    Then Dame walks...

Y'all trippin. AD 's injury prone ass isn't worth our entire future.

Yeah, let's end up rebuilding during Dame's prime....

    I wanna win WITH Dame.

What's your plan to build around them both?

Rebuilding probably wouldn't do us much better. We have the least opportunities around the league to obtain talent so it would take us the longest to obtain any. We could do what Cleveland is doing and obtain 8 picks in the next few drafts. But that doesn't work so often as each draft varies in value. And then you have our front office to deal with, which doesn't really believe in being that aggressive in the first place. Although I might be in favor of a rebuild at some point. I'd only do it if Olshey and Stotts were long gone.
