Re: Dyslexia 'is just a middle-class way to hide stupidity' http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/arti...66&ito=1490 I thought this was pretty funny. I think he's right, but not in all cases. Everyone it seems, 'is smart'....nobody can just be an idiot anymore, there has to be some condition attached to it.
Re: Dyslexia 'is just a middle-class way to hide stupidity' mroe like rich wayI go to school with a bunch of rich kids, they all have this, add and adhdits crazy how none of this existed when kids could be beaten

My step brother is one of them, he'll go out of his way to act distracted and purposely do things (it's too obvious), and he always acts all deer in the headlights: "What happened?".. "I have ADD" (even though he has no medicine for it, or any documents that says he has it).
Re: Dyslexia 'is just a middle-class way to hide stupidity' I disagree, Dyslexia is a real problem. I am mildly dyslexic, but I usually catch myself quickly. but I concider myself far from stupid.

Re: Dyslexia 'is just a middle-class way to hide stupidity' I agree, but not in all cases. For example, I have alcoholism. I am powerless to stop it.

Not that I would know from personal experience, but I know a lot of major alcoholics, smokers, crack addicts, etc that have successfully quit.as for this article, it makes sense, same with ADD, ADHD, Disgraphia, etc.

Is that hard to comprehend?

That's like saying I can't state how many points Kobe Bryant scored on Toronto if I didn't play for the Toronto Raptors.
Re: Dyslexia 'is just a middle-class way to hide stupidity' Some people do cover up their stupidity with that, it's not an everyone-does-it kinda thing.Kinda like saying all asians like anime or whatever
Re: Dyslexia 'is just a middle-class way to hide stupidity' It seems like here it is the new cool thing to be ADD, ADHD, or any of that sh*t.
Re: Dyslexia 'is just a middle-class way to hide stupidity' I do think that the title is inappropriate. It should be "dyslexia is just a middle-class way to hide illiteracy", because I've met smart dyslexic people.

It's about a statue of the virgin Mary bleeding from her vagina. People come to have the blood of the statue cure their disease, one of them being Stan's dad who is an alcoholic. He comes because AA told him he is powerless against alcohol without a higher power. You ruined the joke! :dribble:

In fact I think I've seen it a grand total of twice.
