Bones, I think we can make it out of the first round this year. It would have been great to get more, but I think we have strengthen the team. Next 30 games will tell?
We can, it's possible. I don't expect to though. I don't think weve done anything to change a series though.
Nope, our only hope is Nurk has grown enough to make a difference in a series cause Hood/Skal ain’t changing shit.
It ain't over yet. But for the most part you can only do what is made available. He went out and got a player that might make a difference in a couple games. He also got an open roster spot to work the waivers. He picked up another big which this team was in need of badly. If the only thing that will make you happy is Davis then i guess i got nothing to say?
Tobias, Porter Jr, Mirotic, etc. There were players available and he didn't get them. If it was just this year, then fine. But year, after year, after year, after year he disappoints. The Nurkic trade is the only good impactful trade for a starter (not a stopgap) that Neil's made here since the start of Dame's 2nd season. Meanwhile, he's handed out $150M to Harkless, Leonard, and Turner. That's pathetic. I'm so goddamn tired of this dude being our GM.
Statements like this is when i bow out. You simply have no idea and you will never know what was said or tried. You just don't know this but you will continue to say it. I can respect your opinion on this.
Look at what they recieved for those guys, and compare that to what we had available to offer. I think it's pretty easy to figure out why those deals didn't materialize / exist / make sense for us.
Bottom line for me is we got our asses handed to us in the playoffs last year and did nothing to ensure that wouldn't happen again. If anything the organization seems content with just making the playoffs. At least trade for someone who could bring some hope for the future. Change the coach. Do something different.
Look... Sometimes things are out of your control. We were definitely looking at purchasing more modern technology, but it takes two parties to make a transaction, and there was nothing that satisfied both sides.
Yeah, I get why they didn't, but when it's year after year, and player after player, that turns into more of an excuse than anything else.
Again this seems a bit harsh but it is your opinion and i can respect that. Seems to me like this last couple days helped this team and that is moving in the right direction.
