According to coachjon at DraftExpress, who is down at the Orlando Pre-Draft Camp, the Celtics have scheduled workouts with the following prospects:
    <ul>[*]Brandan Wright[*]Al Horford[*]Yi Jianlian[*]Joakim Noah[*]Sean Williams[*]Corey Brewer[*]Jeff Green[*]Julian Wright[*]Al Thornton[/list]
I think Danny wants Sean Williams at 32. He has talked good about him on the radio a couple times, said he plans to have him in for multiple workouts, and now he scheduled a workout with him with the "first batch." He'd be a great pick, value wise, at 32. Hopefully he can stay away from Puff the Magic Dragon and have himself a successful career.

I believe this list will enlarge alot considering danny likes to explore every option available. Rajon Rondo must be feeling good about himself right now considering there is no PG on that list.

A fan on CelticsBlog brought up a very good point, though. We aren't going to take Mike Conley Jr., but the Celtics should at least bring him in for a workout to get Atlanta/Portland/Memphis feeling like they have to take him (in Atlanta's case) or give up a lot (in Portland's case). I agree with that statement.

He is already skipping pre-draft workouts, I've seen a ton of quotes with Ainge saying oh well, yeah, he's had problems but we're still going to look at him. Don't even waste your time with Sean Williams, he has disaster/pot smoking/bad publicity written all over him.

I like Noah but wouldn't take him at 5. What about trading down a couple picks to get Noah?

Does this mean that the Celtics have intrest in Corey Brewer if he is working out for us? I don't see why'd we take him in the first place...

It means that Corey Brewer is a great talent and we'd be stupid not to work him out. Who knows? Maybe we swing a medium sized deal before the draft, need a wing, and/or trade down? You have to look at all your options, you have to be prepared for everything. Say Chicago offers a great deal involving a pick swap, you'd want to be ready to know who you want at #9 if something like that happened.

He could be one of the premier lock-down deffenders.C) Like CelticBalla said, if a trade comes up and we happen to trade, say, tony allen? Then corey brewer would be a perfect match to replace him.4) He's also a WinnerAnother Thought : We should work out Spencer Hawes. This kid has a really nice set of post moves.

We should maybe bring him in for a workout, fine, but I don't want Hawes at 5. That's a bit of a reach for Hawes and he's a bit of a project, we don't need another project on this team. Pierce would jump off a bridge.

I think Ainge guaranteed Sean Williams a spot at 32 already, hes a really good player, its just his one bad situation made him get kicked out but he was a defensive beast

I think we will take Williams if he's there at 32, but some people over at Draft Express think that Williams may already have a 1st round promise, which could be the reason he decided to pull out of the Orlando Pre-Draft Camp. We'll see.

In addition to Corey Brewer and Al Thornton, who will work out for the team in Waltham Thursday, the Celtics are busy lining up workouts next week with Joakim Noah, Brandan Wright and Al Horford. Mike Conley Jr., the Ohio State point guard slotted as high as the third pick with Atlanta, may also receive an invitation. Team boss Danny Ainge said, ?We?re evaluating Conley.? . . . Sean Williams, the expelled because forward who chose not to show up in Orlando, is also on today?s list but is not expected to attend. His agent, Charles Grantham, and fitness guru John Lucas instead have scheduled workouts for teams on June 11 and 18 in Houston. ?We most likely will go watch him,? Ainge said.

Sean Williams is a question mark and a half. Why would he not participate in the pre-draft camp and why won't he participate in individual workouts? The only logical explanation, unless he's an idiot, is that he has a 1st round promise.
